Sinful Sunday: Taking credit for someone elses work
This is nothing new, at least I´ve heard about this before. But do you know that this also happens in the world of games? People that claim that they´ve earned certain achievement or did something amazing while it was someone else that got it for them. It seems weird but it happens, but you might wonder why someone would do that. I guess the answer isn´t that difficult, because someone people are just that type of person to take credit for someone elses work!
I like achievements, it´s like a checklist in a game to see the things I´ve done and also other people can see that I´ve done that. So whenever someone doesn´t believe you that you completed a game on the hardest difficulty then they can see the achievement on your profile. But then there are people that don´t believe that you got that achievement, they say that someone else must have gotten it for you. Ah there is never a lack of distrust in the world, it seems it´s easier to not believe someone than to believe someone. To be honest with you, I don´t know anyone that could get certain achievements for me and even if I did then I wouldn´t want him or her to get them for me. Because it´s my profile and I want to earn the achievements, if someone else would earn them then I wouldn´t feel like it´s my profile anymore. Maybe that doesn´t make a lot of sense but that´s how I feel about it!
But it´s not just achievements or trophies for that matter, sometimes people post videos of a montage that isn´t theirs. Still that doesn´t keep the one that posts it from claiming that it´s his or her montage. It´s a sad and desperate world where people actually fight over something like that, I mean making a montage of kills is already pretty sad in my opinion but to steal that from someone else and then claim it´s yours just makes it ten times more sad. I´m not going to lie and say that every montage is stupid and pathetic, I guess some people make some interesting ones but I can´t help but feel like if you seen one then you´ve probably seen them all. So why someone would steal this from someone else is just beyond me, I mean are there people out there that are so pathetic to steal something like that and claim it´s theirs? A stupid question, of course there are people like that out there. They belong to the same group that also steals other stuff from people, for example profiles or passwords just to mess up someone elses life. Just so you know, stealing is bad and even with good intentions it´s still bad! Earn your own achievements/trophies, make your own montage or whatever it is you want to make and keep your hands off someone elses stuff!
