The Predator in CoD Ghosts?
The Predator, you´re probably familiar with this creature that appeared in several movies. Unfortunately he (or maybe even she?) has never found true justice in a game, at least I don´t think games ever showed the fun it was to be the Predator. But there might be hope, there was a teaser in a CoD clip where you heard the noise the Predator makes and saw the type of camo he uses to mask himself appear on a CoD Ghosts map. Apparently he might be a part of the new dlc pack called Devastation.
After getting Michael Myers I´m really hoping that this is true, because the Predator is one of my favourite alien creatures I´ve seen in a movie. A Predator is like the ultimate hunter and will keep going until he (or she?) wins or at least tries to take the other with him (or her?) when he (or she?) loses. What´s kind of creepy is that they can copy the voices they hear, which they use to confuse or intimidate their prey. Sometimes they even use it to lure someone into a trap, which is usually fatal for the person that falls for that!
I think a lot of people enjoyed playing as Michael Myers in the Onslaught dlc pack on the map Fog, so I´m really curious about this teaser they showed. How would it work? Is it the same as with Michael Myers where you have to complete a field order and then you might get a chance to become the Predator? I guess that would seem the most logical thing but because the Predator has such a good weapon loadout (camo to become almost invisible, a metalic claw and of course the laser on his or her shoulder), I think that this might be a very overpowered reward. It´s something that shouldn´t be too easy to get unless they make the Predator a lot weaker. But in a way that wouldn´t do the Predator justice, because once you´re the Predator you don´t want to be killed with just one or two shots!
Maybe it´s not a good idea to have too much hope for this, I mean we´re talking about CoD and I doubt we´re going to see the Predator we always wanted in a game. I guess that´s just me being realistic and honest here, but that doesn´t mean we can´t enjoy playing as the Predator. I would really love to give that a try and hopefully have a blast, no pun intended, shooting the shit out of other people without them knowing where I am. It seems a bit like cheating but I hope it doesn´t become too impossible to beat the Predator but I don´t mind a challenge! I guess we´ll find out soon enough...
