You know you´re a fan boy/girl when...

I think we´ve all seen fan boys/girls in youtube comments, often they furiously defend a game or console when someone else is talking shit about it. But more often than not they also appear in the comments of a video that is from a rival console or another game, but they try to promote their console or game to be assholes or just because they have nothing better to do. Which makes you wonder, are fan boys/girls idiots? I don´t think you can all call them that, because there is nothing wrong with being a fan of something but when you have to harass other people with that then you´re behaving as an idiot!




How do you recognize a fan boy/girl?




* Usually in the name or gamertag you can recognize them, but there are also a lot of trolls that pretend to be a fan boy/girl!


* You find a lot of fan boys/girls in the comment section of CoD or BF videos, somehow they´re drawn to that.


* A lot of fan boys/girls often play only a certain type of genre or a certain group of games.


* A fan boy/girl isn´t known to be modest, so the more noise someone makes the more likely they´re a fan boy/girl!




Things you might not know about fan boys/girls:




- Some fan boys/girl like to annoy others on rival videos of other consoles or games that they like.


- You can find a lot of fan boys/girls in CoD or BF games, so beware if you play those games!


- Not every fan boy/girl is an obnoxious twat, but there are plenty known for being one!


- The arguments of a fan boy/girl why their console or game is better than others are often weak, usually based on the because I say so logic.




I don´t think every fan boy/girl is bad, I mean we all have someone or something in our life that we like and some people just like it more than others. Being a fan isn´t a bad thing, but going online and talking shit about everything else that isn´t what you´re a fan of makes you annoying! Some people are quite aware of that and just don´t care, which makes them in my opinion even more annoying. But a lot of fan boys/girls talk with ignorance, something else must be bad because it´s not what they like or know. Life is all about discovering new things, if you stay stuck in the same shit most of your life then you´ll never grow. But if you´re ok with that then feel free to do so, just try not to go online and show the world just how closed minded you are!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
