GTA Online tips and tricks
It´s amazing all the things you can do in GTA Online, of course when you can get in GTA Online because that´s still not always that easy. I did discover that for me a direct load isn´t always succesful, often that leads to a not being able to save session. So I usually play a little bit in the story and then check if I can get in GTA Online, so far that´s worked pretty good. I´m not saying that this is a flawless way of getting in GTA Online but if you still have trouble getting in then this might work for you!
The first time I got in the game I was in a no saving session, which meant all the things I did were not saved. Also I saw a lot of things that you have to unlock later in the game, because I was suprised I didn´t see a lot of things I did see in that first experience. For example those packages that drop from the sky aren´t available from the start and the same counts for armored trucks. These are good ways to earn some money in the free roam session but unfortunately you´ll first have to do some leveling. With the armored truck it takes you up to level 19 to unlock that, because then you have acces to sticky bombs in the ammunation. You´ll need those to blow the doors on the back open, but be aware of police swarming in once you try to rob an armored truck. The same counts for robbing stores, if you keep robbing stores without doing any missions or other activities the stars will increase from the start. So at first you get two stars for the first two stores, then you get three stars for the next two stores and so on. It´s smart to do a race or a deathmatch between robbing stores, this way you only get a few stars and it´s much easier to shake the police off your back. Because you don´t want to be killed, the 2000 in game Dollar penalty is just too big and it´s more than you earn from robbing a store!
If you want to make some quick cash you can also sell random, not too expensive, cars at a Los Santos Customs place. The amount of money you get will depend on what type of car you deliver, the lowest amount I´ve gotten was 1200 in game Dollars and the largest so far was 8000 in game Dollars. It´s not a gold mine but it does help you earn some extra cash, I think it still beats buying money in the store (eventhough you can´t actually do that yet). You can´t bring the expensive cars, they´ll refuse to let you in, so you have to look out for a good average car. Also try not to damage your car too much, because before you can sell it you´ll have to repair it. Sometimes Simeon will sent you a sms to get you a car, he´s listed several and you only need to get one of those. This vehicle won´t be shown on the map but if you´re familiar with the car types and names it shouldn´t be too difficult to spot them. If you do have trouble with that then look on the internet and check sites where they sell cars, then compare the name you have in the text with a picture of the car to help you find one. Simeon will also ask for a specific car every now and then, this car will be marked green on the map and is worth more than the cars you get for him in the sms. But beware of other players, because they´ll probably be after the car as well!
Sometimes it´s difficult to find people who want to play missions with you, so if you find yourself outside missions and other activities but you still want to earn some good money then I can recommend playing some survival. It´s pretty tough and especially for the low levels it might be too difficult to do solo. But you earn some nice cash by making it far enough, also you keep the weapons you pick up. So you can have an rpg without actually having to buy one, just remember you only keep that for that session and if you switch to another free roam session or log out that you won´t have it the next time. But weapons you do have unlocked already you do keep, so you don´t have to buy a smg or shotgun from ammunation. This saves you some money and it´s nice to have acces to weapons before other players have that, this will often give you an edge to anyone that wants to kill you. The further you get in survival the more weapons and ammo you´ll find, but it will get tougher and you might find yourself stuck at first around wave 5. There is no shame in that though, so just do what you can and take everything you can get! This will also improve your shooting and your stamina if you run around the map looking for weapons, so there are definately benefits in trying this!
The best way to earn money is probably by playing missions, the longer the mission the more money you get for it. But that will often require more players, so if you don´t know any other people that play this game then it might be difficult to find people to play these missions with. I think there is actually a mission where you can earn 450.000 dollars, but the mission does take about two hours. So don´t be afraid to try missions and play with other people. Missions are probably the easiest way to earn money fast, but it´s definately not the only way! Play the way you want to play and with whom you want to play, you can even decide to bet on players. This might be a bit more risky but it can still earn you some money. Also remember to check your awards, these help you to get some bonus xp and that can make the difference when it comes to quickly leveling up. Also you get an achievement/trophy if you get 30 platinum medals, so there is definately a reason to go for that! Don´t forget that sometimes you have to spend money to make money, so buying a good car might seem like a waste of money but when it helps you win races or helps you get away from the cops in a hurry then it will definately be worth it. A good car that you can steal and customize is the Ubermacht Zion Cabrio, this car an above average car that drives pretty fast and you can customize it at Los Santos Customs. It´s better to steal this car than buy 65.000 in game Dollars for it, but if you want to check how the car looks like then you can check it under the Coupes cars. Once you have a garage you can store a car in there and it will automaticly put a tracker in it, this saves you the money to buy one yourself at Los Santos Customs.
