Rockstar, can we please get a crooked cop dlc for GTA Online?
I like GTA V Online, it's a fun game where you can do pretty much anything you want. I guess the only problem I have with this game mode are annoying people that are trying to ruin your fun. But that's why there are private lobbies, so you can still have fun and not deal with the drama of other people. But I feel like GTA Online could use something, something we haven't seen in GTA Online. I'm talking about crooked cops dlc!
What is crooked cops dlc?
It's a thought really, but one that could be really cool and fun to play. So you can play as a cop, but instead of being a good cop you're one of the bad ones and you pretty much form your own special task force or go solo and collect on protection money or do your own dirty business while pretending to be a good cop. This could give you completely different gameplay, for example if you're not caught red handed you could fool the other cops and get away with certain things, unless you do too many suspicious things in a short time. But it would also be fun if you could actually be a cop and catch the criminals, so have some type of missions in it that allow you to hunt down dangerous criminals or find people that are missing. Also it could add some investigation parts into the game, solving a crime like L.A. Noire or maybe solving one of your own crimes but then make it look like someone else did it. I think this type of dlc could offer a lot of different options and give something else to do than being the crime boss or motorcycle gang leader.
So just crooked cops?
I think there is room for more, why not add private eyes to the mix as well? Give people the chance to become a private eye and do some investigating and dealing with crooked cops for example. You could help people in Los Santos or pretty much look out for yourself and fill your pockets with money while pretending to be a helpful person. You could start as your own private eye or team up with a friend. The same can be said about the cops, you could partner up with an AI or with a friend and cruise the streets together. I think that would be amazing and give something else to do than the typical rob the local store around the corner type of deal. It would also give people the choice to do something good or just stay bad. I would also like to see cop and private eye outfits, add badges to clothes and holsters for your guns. Some cool cop cars, maybe some ridiculous experimental and over the top stuff. For example an armored vehicle that can bust through blockades or a vehicle that can drop a spiked mat that will destroy the tires or a pursuer.
Just an idea?
Yeah it's just an idea but it would be cool if Rockstar could make something like that. It would be a nice nod to L.A. Noire and at the same time give you something else to do than running a business in Los Santos. It's also nice if people that don't have a big group of friends to play with something to do in GTA Online. If it's just you and a friend or just you alone then it's difficult to run a business, but with some more solo or co-op missions with a friend then you have more to do. Also keep in mind that in the story of GTA V Michael and Trevor dress up as cops in one mission, so I don't think this idea is completely impossible and would offer some interesting gameplay! Please Rockstar make it happen!
