For Honor (multiplayer) is a broken piece of shit?

Ok maybe that's a bit harsh but the amount of times I've been disconnected during a match is just ridiculous. I checked my connection and it's not my fault, everything is ok on my end but Ubisoft on the other hand seems to have some issues...

Why do you disconnect?

You would expect to have some issues on your end but I keep getting a green stable connection and it doesn't even shift to yellow or red. But sometimes during matches, often the big fights (4 vs 4), I lose connection for no real reason. It usually starts with some serious lag and then boom you're back in the main menu. What really sucks about this is that you lose all your progress in the match, so if you got more than ten eliminations then you lost those and all progress for objectives are also lost so it's really frustrating! I often disconnect in the middle of the map, around point B (on most maps) where all the soldiers are hanging around fight for control of the point. This doesn't happen in every match but sometimes the game just freaks the fuck out and I'm disconnected. I don't think I have to explain any further why this is annoying. My guess is that the game can't handle that many characters on screen and when you go slashing through them the game just disconnects you. That's not the technical answer you might be looking for but I'm not really a technical guy. I do think that Ubisoft once again launched a game too early and didn't get all the bugs and glitches out of the game in time, but instead of delaying the game they just launch it anyway.

Are these the only problems?

Well the disconnect problems are already bad enough but no that's not the only problem. Sometimes the game also can't load the post game menu, you know where you can see how much experience you earn and if you got some loot from the battlefield, and that means you either get this later, at least Ubisoft says you get this later, or it's just lost. What definitely is lost is your chance to add your war assets manually on the battlefield in the war of the factions, not only does this means you make no progress with your achievements/trophies (there are at least three or four achievements/trophies tied to that) but also that you don't get the rewards you should've and would've earned just yet. Once again this is quite frustrating, because you want to get some nice rewards for playing matches and if you keep getting the message that the Ubisoft server is a piece of shit, this isn't what it actually says but it's pretty much all I see whenever the message appears, then you get real tired of For Honor real fast! Then there is also a problem with blocking, so many times the game doesn't respond proper to blocking. I press the stick on time in the right direction and I still get hit, this happens against people but also against bots. Of course I do realize that there are unblockable moves but that's not it, just simple light and heavy attacks go through your defense as if you weren't blocking in that direction. I get the feeling that this is some type of delay issue where your actions take a moment to get through at certain moments in the game. It really sucks when this happens a lot though, because you get destroyed by simple attacks while you're blocking in the right direction.

For Honor is a broken piece of shit?

It sometimes feels that way. There are definitely moments where the game seems to be working and then it's fun to play, but the moments where things don't work the game can be very frustrating. I really don't know what to make of all this, I'm pissed off and it really annoys me how simple things like connectivity can be such an issue. So I'm thinking of taking a break and hope that the game is fixed in a month or two, that is of course wishful thinking but right now there are a lot of issues in the game and I doubt I'm the only one that has these issues. Ubisoft will of course promise to fix it but really this game shouldn't have been launched in February. I would've wanted them to fix the problems and launch the game a month or two later, because I would rather wait on a game a bit longer than buy a game that is broken!
