Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be better than the Division?
I hear a lot of people that are concerned about Ghost Recon Wildlands because after the Division they don't really trust Ubisoft, which doesn't surprise me since it's not the first time a Ubisoft game turns out to be less interesting than was promised. But does that make Ghost Recon Wildlands automaticly bad or will this game actually be better than the Division?
Ghost Recon Wildlands isn't the Division?
I can see how some people are a bit confused, but you should keep in mind that Ghost Recon Wildlands gives you more freedom and also gives you more specialized classes to play as. In the Division you had three types of skills to choose from and pick just a few abilities from those skills. But what I personally didn't like about the Division is that you got tired of the game quickly because the moment I was done with the story there was nothing else to do. Ghost Recon Wildlands give you a bit open world where you can do mission and you work as a team with three other characters. These other characters can be played by other people, you can actually customize your own character, or if you prefer to play solo you can play on your own with three bots. What I really like about this is that this game will require teamwork and also communication. I love these type of games, just think about Rainbow Six Siege which is also a game that requires teamwork and communication, and I think that this alone already make Ghost Recon Wildlands interesting. But what really sets these games apart for me personally is the freedom in the open world, not just walking around in the streets of New York City but actually being able to go to different surroundings and hide in the jungle or use your sniper rifle from a mountain. I think that Ghost Recon Wildlands offers you more, which is definitely a good thing!
Ghost Recon Wildlands give you more freedom?
Ok I'm feeling like I'm repeating myself here, but yes you have a lot more freedom and this is shown in a chase when a target is getting away in a car and you can chase him in another car or on bikes. This creates some interesting moments where you have to chase your target and work together with your team. You can also just plan ahead and put bombs on the vehicles so the moment the target tries to escape you blow him up. Then there is also the option to snipe him from a distance if you suck at sneaking and don't feel like chasing the target. But for those that do like stealth you can sneak into a camp and take out guards one by one and then interrogate the target. It's your mission and you decide how to complete it. I also love the character customization which gives you also quite some freedom to create, hopefully, a unique character. This beats looking all the same way and wearing the same stuff because when you play with others online you want to look unique and not like the rest. The Division was a bit of a disappointment in my opinion but I think that Ghost Recon Wildlands is going to be a lot more fun, let's just hope that I'm right!
