What I hate about Battlefield 1
Battlefield 1 is a fun game, it absolutely has moments that are epic and make you want to play it for a long time. But then there are also moments that just make me want to punch the screen. A lot of these moments are all thanks to other players in the game, so is Battlefield 1 really at fault here? Maybe not but it doesn't take away how certain things can really ruin a game for you.
People are the worst in Battlefield 1?
The worst? Not really, but there are some annoying douchebags that hang around in Battlefield 1 multiplayer. For example the jackass that camps in his tank, the scumbags that ignore the objectives and camp as scouts on a place near an enemy spawn for some quick kills, people that wait around corners with a shotgun for an easy kill, people in the zeppelin that spawn kill you over and over again, people that make it their mission to knife you in the back and of course the sad sacks of shit that need to teabag you after they shoot you in the back. Maybe a lot of the CoD assholes are now roaming around in Battlefield or maybe Battlefield was always this annoying, the fact remains that people are the worst in Battlefield 1 and no matter the amount of bugs and glitches it's really these annoying people that ruin the multiplayer experience. But let's not forget about people in squads, I once joined a team where there were five private squads and most of these squads had 2 or 3 people in them. Which means we have a lot of small squads roaming around and you can never fight back at full strength against another squad. Then there are people that join a squad and have their microphone plugged in, but instead of talking with their team they talk with their family and friends in the room but don't mute themselves. Honestly that is probably one of the most annoying things, having to listen to some random douchebag fight with his girlfriend.
Battlefield 1 is perfect?
Nope! It's a fun game but it definitely has issues. For example the part where your guns can't fire after a revive, yeah that's hilarious! Oh not for you but for the guy that can shoot you or knife you while you try to shoot him but nothing happens. Something that also bothers me is how long it takes to destroy certain vehicles, for example there are tanks that just eat anti tank grenades and the anti tank rockets without really giving a shit. What also sucks that when you're in a tank you actually have to switch seats to fire the canon if you're the only one in the tank which makes absolutely no sense to me. In the campaign this is all under your control but in multiplayer they make it so that you need other people in the tank to be more effective. I guess it's starting to make sense why people camp in a tank. Battlefield 1 multiplayer can sometimes be so frustrating, but sometimes it can also be a lot of fun. I guess it really depends on your team and what kind of map it is. Because the desert map, the big one from the beta, is one of the worst where you get sniped so many times and where vehicles see you coming from a mile away so you can't actually do damage to them that matters. But there are also maps that are amazing, they're smaller and offer more cover, for example the maps in the woods or the one with the desert village. Those maps are much better and a lot of fun to play! Maybe Battlefield 1 is just not for me, it's fun but a lot of things frustrate me and I just don't have the patience for that.
