Playing as Batgirl in Arkham Knight

If you wondered why you´re spending a lot of money on the season pass then wonder no more! It seems that in the dlc for Arkham Knight you can play as Batgirl, this is a story before the Arkham games and before Batgirl became Oracle. Which might be interesting for some fans, ah who am I kidding? It´s interesting for a lot of fans!


Playing as Batgirl is a good thing?


I think it is, because we played as Batman, Catwoman and Robin in Arkham City + as Nightwing in the challenge maps. So it´s nice that we get the chance to play as another important character in the Batman universe. I don´t know what story you´ll play as Batgirl but it might be the moment where the Joker shoots her or where it leads up to that moment. Unfortunately that´s not a guarantee and it could easily be something else. Does that mean that the Joker might make an appearance in this dlc? Who knows...


What else do you get with the season pass?


As far as I know you also play as Batman in a story mission against some old enemies and I think Batman´s allies also get their own story mission. Which means you would also be able to play as Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin. At least for some time. There are also new challenge maps and similar things to keep you busy if that´s your cup of tea. I´m pretty certain that it will keep you busy for some time and for the fans this is probably something that you want.


Is it worth buying the season pass?


I think it is, sure it´s expensive but you get some good stuff for that. Ok I´m not happy that this is all dlc, the developers could´ve put this in the game, but I guess this is the way games seem to work these days. That doesn´t mean that it´s not worth getting it, because playing as Batgirl and the other allies of Batman is cool and you don´t get the chance for that in a lot of games. Especially in an interesting looking game like Arkham Knight. The season pass is 40 Dollars so it´s up to you if you think that´s worth it. But as a fan it´s very tempting to buy the season pass now!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
