All hail Sony?
Let me first say that Microsoft did the same thing, so this isn´t something I type for hate or any other lame end. I guess Microsoft was happy with their sales and made that public how well they sold their Xbox One, but then here comes Sony and crushes those numbers with their sales of the Playstation 4!
Game over Microsoft? I guess every Sony fan boy or girl would love to hear that but no that´s not going to happen, but it´s probably a blow for Microsoft. But to be honest they could´ve expected this because the Xbox One has only been selling well since they lowered the price without Kinect and that hasn´t been that long ago, so hopefully things will be better at the end of the year. Microsoft is still in the race and there are plenty of cool games coming out, let´s not forget about the Master Chief edition and Halo 5! So Microsoft is still alive!
So what´s the point of letting everyone know about the sales? An easy answer is that Sony has bragging rights, but I think that there is more to it because if you´re only going to brag with that then you´re not doing it right! This is also a psychological smack in the face for Microsoft putting the ball in their court and they´ll have to make the next move. Which is a smart thing because Sony has been doing well sitting still and letting Microsoft dig a hole for itself. But I do think that Microsoft has been getting out of that hole lately, so maybe it´s time for Sony to get busy as well and I do think that they have been doing that behind the screens.
Is this how console wars begin? I´m certain that there are several sad people out there that are going to try and annoy anyone that likes the Xbox One or persuade anyone that is still playing on the Xbox 360 to switch to the Playstation 4. I think that these are sad attempts to annoy people, the problem is that there are always morons that reply to these type of comments which then leads to a so called console war. But could you really call it a war? Hell no! They´re often just people with no real life and so they spend it online talking bollocks about consoles while they could do something far more interesting with their life!
So it´s all hail Sony and better luck next year Microsoft? Well you could say that, but like I mentioned before it´s not over yet. This whole sales thing doesn´t mean shit to me, because anyone that plays games for fun doesn´t give a shit about the sales and just wants to know when cool games come out for their console. Something more people should do, which means less childish bullshit and more fun playing games!
