I love/hate controllers!

I think that a lot of people that play games on a pc don´t use a controller, usually because they´re used to their keyboard and mouse or perhaps they just don´t like to use a controller that much. It´s something a console gamer like myself finds difficult to believe, I grew up with consoles and started playing games on my pc much later. So it difficult to imagine that someone might actually prefer something else above a controller, you know that things that breaks so easily when you hit it too hard or breaks the moment it hits the ground to hard. Weird isn´t it?


A controller isn´t meant for a rager? Or maybe it is, I mean people will sell a lot of controllers to people who have a bad temper. Because you break a controller so easily, trust me I have a lot of experience with this, you´ll have to buy a new one the moment your old one doesn´t work anymore. But in some cases it only has to happen to one button you need to use, for example with one of my controllers it was the right trigger which meant that I either kept firing in a first person shooter or I couldn´t fire at all. Either way that sucks and it made it impossible to actually do anything useful in a lot of games because of that, so that means I had to to buy another one. Do you know that the prices of controllers hardly ever drop? Consoles become cheaper over time but controllers usually stay expensive for as long as the consoles are still in use. Of course the best solution would be not to get mad or frustrated in a game, but seriously anyone that has played certain games must have had moments of frustration that made you want to smash something. But it actually doesn´t take the Hulk to smash your controller, I once just pushed my controller in a pillow and fucked up one of my triggers that way. I mean seriously, I tried to stay calm but just had to vent some frustration and there you go another useless controller. Maybe a rager shouldn´t play games and just climb the top of a building and scream all day, oh wait in some countries they actually do that but call that a morning prayer or something like that. Hm I might be mistaken...


I´m not asking for much really, just a controller that doesn´t break that easily. Sure it´s a good way to earn money but really I think we already pay more than enough for consoles and games, why do they need to rip us off with controllers?  I must admit that I learned to stay calm for a longer time or just vent my frustration on something else, because controllers are just too expensive to fuck around with! I really hope that one day they´ll invent an unbreakable controller, now that would be the best friend of a rager! But I think a lot of gamers have moments like that, a moment of frustration or anger that makes you want to throw your controller to the wall. It´s nice if the controller would actually survive that and that you could use it as if nothing had happened. Come on Microsoft and Sony, make it happen!!!
