Your best memories in a game and no one else understands that

Have you ever had a question from someone in your family or friends that asked you if you had a good day and you said that you had an amazing day but when you explain what that exactly meant that they thought you were crazy? No? Just me then? I doubt I'm the only one who had those situations but honestly there are moments when you had such a great time in a game and somehow there is no one who understands that. At least not like you.

What are some unique moments in games?

 One of the things that really makes me happy is when I beat a tough boss or a difficult level in a game. Think about all the times you got beaten and how close you got sometimes but just didn't make it. Then when you finally do you scream and cheer but no one else understand your joy and your relief. When you try to explain that then a lot of people don't understand your reaction, why would anyone be so excited about that? I guess some people see games as just games and it's difficult to explain these feelings of joy you get from accomplishments in a game. Other things that make me very happy in a game are unlocking some difficult achievements, performing really well in a multiplayer match or just doing something awesome that was completely random and not planned at all. These are just littel moments of joy and they can make you so happy, but for others it might mean nothing. Of course you can try to explain but most of the time it's not worth it because they don't seem to be able to understand what makes you so happy about what happened. But that's fine, there's nothing wrong with having a small moment of happiness just for yourself.

Getting hate for your moment of happiness?

 Some people manage to quickly record this amazing moment that just happened and post it online. I've seen quite a lot of those moments and a lot of times I notice how the comments under these recorded moments are often quite toxic. People that say that they're not impressed or consider that person a cheater or a try hard. I don't know exactly why people behave that way but it's easy to assume that some people are jealous or perhaps they're just annoyed that they can't do that. I will admit that not every recorded moment that someone calls amazing is truly amazing. To the person who recorded that it might be amazing and others might agree, but this is an opinion and not everyone might agree with that. Just because you think it's amazing (or not) doesn't mean it's true. But don't let that keep you from recording a fun moment you had in the game, even if people give you hate it shouldn't keep you from sharing this moment of happiness with others. There will always be people that are going to be negative, that can't be helped, but never let that keep you from sharing something fun!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers? There is nothing wrong about being serious, but I think there is a time and a place for everything. Mortal Kombat X isn´t just another fighting game?

You´ve probably seen the announce trailer of Mortal Kombat X, then you probably also know that it shows two familiar characters fighting against eachother. At that point you´re probably still thinking that it´s just more of the same but with a better coat of paint, I understand that pessimist look and it´s not often wrong. But from what I´ve heard about Mortal Kombat X is that it´s going to be more than just a new game in the Mortal Kombat game series. What´s new? Apparently there will be more fighting styles for one character, giving everyone his or her own favourite style to use against opponents. There was something familiar in another Mortal Kombat game where they also had weapons in a fighting style, but this seems to go a bit deeper and more unique. Of course these are just words at this point, nothing has been proven just yet!
