Game trailers that bring shivers down your spine!

Do you remember the trailer you saw that brought shivers down your spine? You know the one I'm talking about, the trailer that made you want to buy the game no matter what! This is usually not a good idea, I mean you first should check the gameplay and see if this game is interesting. But it was this cinematic trailer that just blew you away and made you want to buy it anyway. This trailer that just took away any doubts you had and gave you such a epic feeling of awesomeness that you just had to buy that game. That's the type of trailer I'm talking about!

Game trailers sell games?

 You might not believe it but it's true. Some people like certain trailers so much that one look at these, I say one but you can bet your ass on it that people watch these trailers multiple times, and they just have to buy the game. There is no question about it, you just need this game in your life. This is what happened to me when I saw the sacred ashes trailer of Dragon Age Origins. Such a cool trailer and eventhough it revealed hardly anything of the game and even lead to some false information it's still a really cool trailer. When I saw that trailer I needed  to buy the game, I didn't even care that the combat system wasn't that as fast as in the trailer and that your character doesn't actually have a voice. After seeing that one trailer I was already convinced that I wanted to buy the game and then there is very little you can do about that. Dragon Age Origins is actually a pretty good game so I guess I got lucky with that. Unfortunately not every cool trailer means you get a cool game, so you might want to keep that in mind when you want to buy a game just based on one awesome looking trailer.

A trailer that is just beyond epic?

 There are cool trailers and then there are trailers that just blow you away! I think the Witcher 3 has one of those trailers, in all honesty every game trailer of the Wither 3 looks amazing, and it just makes you wish that there are more of those trailers out there. Unfortunately there aren't that many amazing trailers. But even if some trailers might not look that epic that doesn't mean they can't be considered as such. For example I truly like the Overwatch cinematics, ok I'm not saying they're all that amazing but some definitely look pretty good and the feelings man...just wow! Some are a bit silly, others are quite intense and then there are trailers that just make you cry like a baby. But you know what? It's ok, games can do that even to the best of us and it's not something you should be ashamed for! I hope that 2018 will give us a lot of new amazing looking trailers and I can't wait to see them all!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers? There is nothing wrong about being serious, but I think there is a time and a place for everything.
