Looking back at.....Halo Reach!
This might sound weird to some Halo fans but Halo Reach is my absolute favourite Halo game, sure there are other great Halo games but for me Halo Reach is the absolute best. Why? Well I can explain it as Halo Reach being the first Halo game I played or that it's a great game to get familiar with Halo games. But to be honest it was really the story that made me love this game so much, it's so sad and yet so good! What's also nice is that you could make your own character, so you weren't bound to the character the game would give you but you can decide if you want to play as a male or female spartan and what colour your armor is.
Not just one man or woman.
In Halo Reach you follow Noble team, you are the latest addition to the team (Noble six) and you're tasked to investigate some strange things on the planet Reach. At first it just seems like some disturbances but later you'll figure out that there's a lot more going on. What's great about this game is that it's not just you, it's you and other spartans fighting together. Now I'm not saying that this always works well, sometimes a member on your team gets you killed, but it's definitely fun to be on the field with other spartans. But if you prefer to have some human company then you can also play with friends in the campaign or in firefight against waves of enemies. The missions in the campaign are diverse and will take you to all kinds of situations. One moment you go on a scouting mission with your sniper rifle and the other mission will take you to space and you can fly around. It all works so well and is so much fun to play!
Multiplayer and firefight.
Wether you enjoy facing other people in multiplayer or fight together against waves of enemies in firefight it's a lot of fun, especially if you play with friends but even with random players you can have a good time. The maps are pretty good and keep the action intense, because I don't think it's fun to wander around on big maps and not finding anyone. Some would say that Halo 2 has the best multiplayer, they might be right, but Halo Reach is the last Halo game with this type of multiplayer because Halo 4 changed that and Halo 5 is also different. In firefight you can fight solo against waves of enemies or fight alongside friends, it's probably smarter to have some friends help you out because it can be tough to defeat all enemies on your own!

Because Halo Reach gives you a unique look at the Halo universe, you're not the big hero Master Chief but just one of many spartans that is trying to save the planet Reach. You fight in situations where victory isn't guaranteed and where things don't always go as you want it or expect it to go. Halo Reach tells you a story of friendship, courage, honour, duty, sorrow and hope. It's a great game to get familiar with Halo and it might, just like me, make you want to play the other Halo games as well.
