Righteous fury!
We all get mad sometimes, but some people aren´t just mad they´re furious! It´s easy to say that these people are idiots, why get so mad over something? Especially when you talk about games, so many times people will say that it´s just a game and it doesn´t really matter. But it does matter to some people, so much that they consider their fury to be righteous. But is it?
Getting angry helps?
I´ve said it before and I´ll say it again, it feels good to let it out sometimes. If you bottle up all those negative feelings then you´re a timebomb that will eventually explode, but the difference is that this is usually at a time that doesn´t suit you and can do more harm than just getting mad every now and then. Which is why I would encourage people to let out some anger every now and then, not pointed towards other people directly but get yourself a punching back or scream to let some frustration out and you´ll feel better afterwards. When you´re furious you definitely want to make certain that there is no one else around, you don´t want to turn your anger towards someone because that can be dangerous. Some would say that meditation helps and maybe it does, but that takes time and it doesn´t work for everyone, sometimes it´s better to deal with something instead of putting it away.
Righteous fury?
Sometimes you get so mad but you actually have a good reason to be mad, it´s not just frustration when you fail a game but someone or something is actually screwing you over. For example someone uses cheats in a multiplayer game or tries to sabotage the team by acting like a douchebag, but it´s also possible that the game freezes or characters in the game walk through walls or still hit you while you´re in cover. Enough reason to get upset, if you have a bad temper then I´m not even surprised that you´re furious. But it´s not just fury, it´s a righteous fury because you feel like you´ve been wronged while you did nothing wrong. So in a way you have every right to be mad. But once again this doesn´t mean you can be an asshole towards others, get the anger out of your system and then continue when you´ve calmed down. You don´t want to play when you´re angry, that hardly ever leads to good things.
