Black Ops 3?

Slowly pieces of information, perhaps a better word is rumors, start to show up about Black Ops 3. To be honest it´s not even certain that the name of the game will be Black Ops 3, it could be something different. But that doesn´t stop the speculation train, the less information you have the faster the speculation train goes!


Past or future?


One of the biggest questions will be if the game takes place in the future or in the past, which is something that is still unclear and probably will stay that way until the developers decide to give some more information. But looking at the succes of CoD Advanced Warfare it wouldn´t be a surprise that it takes place in the future and that the soldiers also have some type of future tech that allows them to be more mobile. If that means it´s going to be an exo suit is also unknown, but it wouldn´t surprise me. But it could be that it takes place in the past, which means no super powered suits and no future tech, just using the old tricks in the book and kick ass like you did so many times before!


The best CoD game?


The developers got three years to work on this game and hopefully that will make it a great game, I´m not talking about good graphics but a game that you actually want to play for fun and not just to keep playing with your friends in multiplayer. What type of game Treyarch made remains to be seen, ok you can bet that it´s going to be a first person shooter but apart from that it´s still unclear. Which is impressive because it´s already April and usually you get some information at this point. So far we got hardly anything. I have to admit that I´m very curious about this game and if it´s going to be best CoD game remains to be seen, I don´t like to say things like that about a game I haven´t even seen or know what it´s about.


Not just for current gen consoles?


Good news for everyone that still plays games on their Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Black Ops 3 (if that´s going to be the name for this game) will also appear on these consoles. So you don´t have to miss out if you don´t want to buy a new console. But I do think that this might be the last time that a CoD game will appear on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It´s how it goes, you either move on or you get stuck with a console that doesn´t get any new games.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
