Destiny House of Wolves release date!
We´re close, so close to the new Destiny dlc! On May the 19th 2015 we get the House of Wolves dlc! This means new missions, armor, weapons and other cool stuff! If we have to believe Bungie this will be an improvement compared to the Dark Below dlc that wasn´t very popular with everyone. Hopefully House of Wolves will be a lot of fun and keeps us busy till the next dlc and/or expansion.

If you read any comment section under a Destiny related video then there is a very good chance that you´ll find this question, it´s often some sad attempt from trolls to annoy Destiny players. But what they don´t understand that some people actually like Destiny, even if there are things that are less interesting it´s still an interesting game that can keep you busy for quite some time! So if you don´t have the money to buy new games every month and you like to invest in a game (meaning you don´t mind spending a lot of time on getting stuff and unlocking things) then Destiny is a good game for you. Sure the story isn´t that long but trying to collect all exotic and legendary gear will keep you busy for quite some time! Then there are daily and weekly activities that earn you things to help you upgrade your gear and/or unlock new gear. So do I still play this game? Yes I still play this game, not every day but I still play it once or twice a week.
Will this dlc bring old players back?
I´d say everyone with the season pass (giving you acces two the first two dlc packs) will most likely return and maybe some people would want to check out the dlc to see if it´s really an improvement. Of course that means you´ll encounter a lot of haters and trolls in the comment section, maybe even in the game you´ll find some of those people, but don´t let that stop you! You can play the missions on your own and for the strike and raid you can play with a lot of people that do enjoy playing this game. So I don´t think it´s will be a deserted game if you go back, but things might cool down a bit a couple of weeks after the release of the new dlc.
Is this dlc worth checking out?
I don´t know, the trailer didn´t show any gameplay and also didn´t show any new gear. But the story is interesting from what I learned so far. It seems that the Fallen that were under the protection of the Awoken (you talked with the Queen in the story) have betrayed them and killed a lot of Awoken, so it´s now up to the Guardians to get revenge and kill the Fallen. What that exactly means remains to be seen but I get the idea that we´re going to hunt down Fallen and probably have a lot of fun doing that! You can also visit the Reef, the area where the Awoken hang around, which is cool because that was impossible so far. I think it will be an interesting story to check out and I´m definitely interested, but it remains to be seen if it´s going to be a lot of fun.
