State of Decay 2, finally you can play with other people?

I really like the first State of Decay game, so I'm happy to see a sequel. But the question is, what does this game have to offer? Well that's a bit difficult to say since the trailer was just a cinematic of people killing zombies with a car and responding to people in trouble. But I think there is something I can say about this game and hopefully that gives you an idea what you can expect in this game.


You can play with other people?


In the first State of Decay game it was just you, a lot of people asked for co-op gameplay but it just didn't happen. But now in State of Decay 2 it seems like the people get what they want. In the trailer you see a group of people killing zombies and responding to other people that are in trouble, so I think it might be that you just team up with other players and can kill zombies together or there is some sort of open world where people can meet up and work together or maybe even against eachother. It's probably just going to be you teaming up with some friends but that's more than we had before!


What else is new?


The trailer didn't really show that much but I did see that you leave the Trumbull area, so I expect State of Decay 2 to take place in a new area and hopefully that's bigger and better. With the part of the car it might mean you have to travel a lot, which means that vehicles will play once more a big role in surviving and getting quickly from one place to another. I expect the same tricks as before with gathering supplies and building stronghold, which is fine because that was a lot of fun in the first game so I wouldn't mind seeing this in the sequel.


Should you be excited about this game?


If you like State of Decay then I think you're going to like State of Decay 2. If you're new to this game then you're in for a surprise, because this is not your typical zombie survival game! It's not just that you play as a guy or girl and survive, no you have to pick a character and gather supplies to help you and the rest to survive. If you make mistakes your character might end up dead and you have to switch to another character, this might not seem interesting but will make the struggle to survive even bigger when you have spend a lot of time on a character and have developed his or her skills to the max. I really like State of Decay and I can't wait to play State of Decay 2, it looks like fun and I'm definitely interested in playing the game!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
