Ghost Recon Wildlands, bigger is better?
When you look at tactical shooters you're usually confined to a certain area, so imagine having an open world where you can move around and do whatever you like. Ok you still have missions to complete but the freedom you experience is going to be fun and you can share this fun with your friends as they can join you in your missions. I think it's safe to say that this game is going to be a lot of fun to play!
What is Ghost Recon Wildlands?
In Ghost Recon Wildlands you play as one of four ghosts (name of soldiers that are trained for special ops) and together you have to fight the Cartel. This happens in missions in a large area and you can select which mission you want to do first. This gives you a lot of freedom and this way you can make your own path through the game. You can play solo with three bots or you can have up to three friends with you in a match. Whatever you prefer it should work! Not only can you run and jump around on the map, you also have acces to several vehicles that make it more fun to travel around and it also goes a lot faster. You can use bikes, cars, boats and even helicopters. This creates some fast and fun gameplay that you can use to chase a target or try to get away from an angry mob.
You make your own ghost?
There is character customization, so you don't have to play as one of the four primary ghost characters. But if you play offline (solo) then the bots will play as these characters. I don't know how detailed character customization is and if you can even play as a female ghost, but hopefully more news will come out soon. From what I heard you can do quite a lot of customizing so hopefully that means that you can create some unique characters instead of everyone looking pretty much the same. When you play online with other people everyone will play as their own unique character.
What makes this game interesting?
First of all it's a tactical shooter, which is fun, but also the freedom you get and being able to share all this fun with friends is of course a great idea. Something I really like about this game is how you have several options in handling a mission, because you could use stealth and you can just run in and shoot everyone! The chases in vehicles look awesome and also the drone you can use to scout ahead and mark enemies is a great addition in the game. I think a lot of people will like this game and I can't wait to play it myself!
