Multiplayer achievements/trophies are the worst!

I like achievements, they're a great motivator to try new modes or try new things in a game. Sometimes they can convince you to try and play a game on a high difficulty and sometimes you do things like trying to get a tripple headshot. I wouldn't do these things on my own, but achievements often convince me to try it and I feel accomplished when I succeed. These are often single player achievements/trophies, unfortunately there are also multiplayer achievements/trophies and  these are often not that much fun to get...

What's wrong with multiplayer achievements/trophies?

The biggest problem with multiplayer achievements/trophies is that it's not all up to me, it also depends on what other players do and that kind of puts the fate of me getting a certain achievement/trophy in the hands of other people and I don't like that! In single player I know what I need to do how to get achievements/trophies and the game will at least put one part in the entire game where you can get that. In multiplayer everything is random, sometimes you face a team of killers that will annihilate you and you never even stood a chance to get the achievement/trophy and another moment you face a team of cowards that constantly camp and hardly come out of their hiding space which also makes it hard to get certain achievements/trophies. My point is that multiplayer achievements/trophies are often more difficult to get because in the wrong team and wrong circumstances, which happens more often than you think, you'll never be able to get them. So imagine a game where you get all single player achievements/trophies, for me that's Tomb Raider (2013), and then there are multiplayer achievements/trophies that require you to do some stupid things that hardly ever work. For example kill someone using a zipline, do you know how long I had to wait to actually see someone using a zipline to come straight at me? What's worse is that the moment you fire one bullet at someone on a zipline they will immediately drop off the zipline. So you can imagine that it's a pain in the ass to get that achievement/trophy, unless you get a lucky headshot. Unfortunately I'm not that lucky...

Why do developers put multiplayer achievements/trophies in a game?

Sometimes I think it's to annoy you but in truth I think it's their way to motivate people to play multiplayer and to keep people longer in multiplayer. So put some annoying achievements/trophies in multiplayer and you have people that might try to get all of these for days or maybe even weeks. But the thing is that I hear from a lot of gamers that they hate multiplayer achievements/trophies, hardly anyone actually likes these so it really surprises me that there are still developers that make these type of achievements/trophies. Nobody likes them or wants them, so why do you keep putting them in games? I don't think people will actually avoid certain games because they can get all achievements or trophies in them but it really sucks that you almost have a game fully completed (all achievements or trophies) but miss one or two because of stupid multiplayer achievements/trophies. Sometimes games achievements/trophies can be cruel, so it's probably a good idea not to be too obsessed with that. Get the ones you can and those that are too much trouble are just not worth the trouble, at least that's how I see it!
