Agents of Mayhem is Saints Row 5?

After seeing the announcement trailer for Agents of Mayhem I couldn't shake the feeling of looking at the future of Saints Row, not that the trailer really revealed any of the Saints (for as far as I know) but it did drop certain hints that it takes place in the same universe as the Saints Row universe and it's from the same developer. A coincidence? I don't think so!


How is Agents of Mayhem Saints Row 5?


Ok I have to admit that looking at the trailer didn't really give clear signs that this is Saints Row 5, I mean Johnny Gat would've been a good hint if not a big neon sign that says hell yes! But there's talk about Ultor, if you remember correctly this is an evil corporation that was an enemy in Saints Row 2 and became part of the Saints in Saints Row the Third and also in Saints Row IV. So seeing that name pop up made me wonder if this takes place in the near future, because not only does the name Ultor pop up you also see the logo of the Saints at the ending and how the woman mentions that her group isn't a street gang (at least not anymore). This woman, I think her name is Brimstone, doesn't look familiar but maybe she could be related to one of the Saints from the previous games since she seems to be running things. But a lot is still unclear and it would be too easy to say this is Saints Row 5 without more proof, but I definitely have my opinions and thoughts about this game and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this does turn out to be Saints Row 5.


Is this good news or bad news?


That really depends what Agents of Mayhem is going to give us, if it's bigger and better than Saints Row IV then that's good news to me but I bet there are people that would hate it because they also hate Saints Row the Third and Saints Row IV. If this game is going to be something completely new then that could be interesting, but I bet a lot of people just want to get their hands on Saints Row 5. I guess we all just have to be patient and wait a bit longer to see what this game is going to be. So far the announcement trailer looks good and interesting with some diverse characters that might be playable or they're your team mates and you can once more create your own character. It's all speculation at this point unfortunately, but I will definitely keep an eye on this game!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
