The return of Blood Rayne?

Have you ever played one of the Blood Rayne games? It´s not one of the most amazing games but it´s really something you play for fun. As you hack and slash through enemies you can finish them off by draining them from their blood or cutting their heads off. It´s not a game for the faint of heart, but I wouldn´t say it´s a scary game. It´s the type of game where you play the role of a sexy dhampir, half human half vampire, that takes care of evil in the world. Once again it´s not a game you should take too seriously, just enjoy the fun and of course of your beautiful character!


Another vampire game? Well I don´t think there are that many vampire games out there but even if you feel like there are so many out there then this isn´t just another bad game like Vampire Rain (no offense but that was just not a good game). What I like about the Blood Rayne games is that you can hack and slash, so no fancy controls or rules you have to live by but just go crazy with your blades. Then there is the bonus that you play as an attractive woman, which is always better than playing as a monster that is hideous. Enough reason to be excited about a new Blood Rayne game? I think that´s a yes!


What should be in this new game? I really hope that they´ll add some more stealth, no need to go Metal Gear Solid style here but just use the powers of a vampire and be able to sneak up on enemies and tear them to pieces. Some brutal executions would be nice as well, no need to play nice with the others! I guess not everyone finds this important but a good story would be welcome as well, not that I don´t like some simple hack and slash gameplay but it´s nice if there is a story behind the killing as well.


Unfortunately so far there is very little known about this new Blood Rayne game, hopefully we´ll get some more information next week and then we´ll probably know for certain if we can play once again as Rayne as she carves her way through the game with her blades!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
