Metal Gear Solid V is incredible!

Imagine a game where you pick the mission, where you decide what to do, where you can customize weapons and even your own base! That's just a taste of all the freedom you get in Metal Gear Solid V, because the game is full of choices and options that give you several ways of completing missions and eventually the game. With so much freedom, do you even know where to start?

Play the way you want to play?

That's right, you can play the game the way you want to play it. Which means sneaking and keeping a low profile or bursting in with a tank and shoot the shit out of everyone! Of course there is a lot of space between these two extremes but you definitely get a chance to complete a mission in your own way. There isn't one way to complete a mission, there are several ways to complete a mission. It's usually smarter to use stealth but sometimes you just want to go on a rampage, I think everyone that has played GTA and/or Saints Row games knows what I'm talking about!

Customize and/or adapt?

Before you start a mission you can select your buddy, this is someone that will tag along with you and helps you in the field. You've probably seen the sniper Quiet, but you can also have Diamond Dog (DD), a horse or a type of robot that can walk and glide (for stealth) to help you get quickly to your destination. You can even play as another character than Big Boss, if you prefer to switch it up a bit. You select this in the helicopter, but even in the field you can change things and select another buddy or order some new weapons. For example is there a sniper? Then you order a sniper rifle from your base and it will be dropped at the location you tell them to drop it. Don't be afraid to lose your buddy, when your buddy gets badly wounded then your buddy will be extracted from the battlefield to safety. You can even select music so if you want to arrive in style with your helicopter you can hear the music you selected, but you can also play music when you're in the field to pass the time when you've got a long hike ahead.

It doesn't matter what you do first?

You can even select which mission you want to play first, at least in the bundle of missions you get. So if you need a translator you can get that one first but you can also eliminate a certain officer first, you can even decide to take the officer for yourself and recruit him into your own private army. Thanks to your special balloons you can take a lot of stuff and add that to your own base, wether that's vehicles or people it doesn't really matter. It all adds up to the big picture, how you build your base up to that point is up to you. You get a lot of freedom in this game and it will result in different playthroughs and experiences for people. This is definitely a game you want to keep your eyes on, check it out on the 1st of September and play the way you want to play the game!
