Looking back at.....Batman Arkham City!

I probably talked about this game before but I can't help but do it again, because it's a great game! I think a lot of Batman fans were waiting for a game like Arkham City, play as Batman in the city and do all the cool moves he also does. As a bonus you can also play as Catwoman, so that gives players a nice diversion from Batman and allows you to kick ass in style. It's actually difficult to find something bad about this game, well maybe the open part of the city isn't as big as you'd hope but it's still pretty big!

Stealth and action.

When you think of Batman then you probably think of some cool moves he has to tackle even the toughest villains there are. But Batman isn't just a scrapper, he also has some cool stealth moves. It's cool that this game, just like all the Arkham games, has both qualities of Batman. So one moment you take on a group of armed enemies in a fight while the other moment you sneak through an area and take out enemies one by one. By doing that the enemies will get scared and more alerted, which is fun to watch but it also makes it a bit more difficult to take them down without being spotted. No matter what your style is, in Arkham City you have fun with both styles!

Batman and Catwoman.

As I mentioned before you can play as Catwoman too, this gives you a different way of playing but still familiar enough to move freely through the city. She also has her own gadgets to help her in a fight, but her trusty whip is probably the one you want to use to humilate your enemies the most. You can switch between Batman and Catwoman whenever you want, but there are several points in the story where you have to switch.

Familiar faces.

In Arkham City you'll find a lot of characters that you'll recognize if you watched the cartoons, comics or the movies. It's almost a miracle how the developers got so many characters in the game without making it lame, especially how you can battle against several enemies of Batman and still make it look cool. Wether you go for a scrap fight against Solomon Grundy, you sneak in for the punch on Two Face or try to outsmart the Riddler with his riddles. It's really a lot of fun to play as Batman in the Arkham games, with Arkham City being my favourite so far. But Arkham Knight might change that as it will give you more freedom and even more things to do. Let's just hope it will be just as unforgettable, or maybe even better, than Arkham City!
