Playing Sunset Overdrive for free?

Good news for everyone that has Xboxlive and a gold membership, you can download and play the game Sunset Overdrive for free! But this only counts today, the 22nd of November! So if you know everything about this game already and you always wanted to play then now is the time, have fun!


What is Sunset Overdrive? It´s an open world game where you shoot monsters and do ridiculous stunts while moving through the city or attack these monsters. It´s a big open world game where you decide where you go and you can do whatever you want, even character customization is up to you and you can make your character look as cool or ridiculous as you want to! This is a good example of a fun game, it´s not annoying or frustrating but has a focus on fun. Which means you have a good time playing it and you can share that fun with others because there is multiplayer as well. You can play together with other people and together tackle some missions or just make awesome stunts in the city. Because the city is you playground and you just got free acces!


How does this work exactly? You download the game on Xboxlive (you do need a gold membership) and then you can play, this might take a moment so you better start early! Then you´re free to play the game just on Saturday the 22nd of November. It seems crazy but it´s true! Every achievement you unlock is yours, so when you unlock the full game (if you enjoy playing the game and want to keep playing after today) you keep the achievements you unlocked today. But the main idea for me is just to have fun! Unfortunately this game is only available on the Xbox One so if you play games on your PC and/or other consoles then you´re shit out of luck.

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with.
