Halo 5 makes people upset?
Do you remember when Halo 4 came out? So many people that were upset because it was so much like CoD (in their opinion), they vowed to never play that game and yet a lot of people played Halo 4 and a lot of people enjoyed playing Halo 4. So what about Halo 5? Well in the latest teaser trailer you could see a character sprint (something that was added in Halo 4, to make everyone able to sprint and you don´t need a special ability for that) and a character was aiming down sights. Somehow this made a lot of people mad and once again people say they won´t play the game just because of that. But how serious can you take these people?
Let´s go back to Halo 4, so many say that it´s the worst Halo game so far and yet a lot of people played it and said they had a lot of fun playing it. Not just the single player or spartan ops, also multiplayer. Sure it´s a bit different but different isn´t always a bad thing! For once you could make your own loadout, so you choose which primary and secondary weapon you want to use + which abiltities and grenades you want to use with that. Instead of being forced to use a loadout that has been made for you, which sometimes means having to deal with weapons or items you don´t normally use. Some people claim that this disturbes the balance in the game, but clearly some people just have to accept that things change and sometimes that´s for the best!
That sprinting has returned is a good thing, I really hated (for example in Halo Reach) how I needed a spartan ability to sprint and that would be at the cost of shield or jetpack. It´s so much better that this is standard for every character, talk about balance in a game! This makes the game a bit faster and makes it harder for a piece of shit camper to hit you if you run. Depending on the maps this is really a good thing, if the maps are very small then sprinting might be a bad idea but on bigger maps this saves you a lot of time and makes it worth it travelling further then your own base!
Aiming down sights is the worst thing that has ever happened to Halo? Well if you believe some ´fans´ it is. Look people will always camp in a corner and wether aiming down sights is in a game or not that won´t change. If at the same time you have a better chance to beat people at mid to long range then that´s a good thing, eventhough I enjoy close quarters combat I do realize that this isn´t everything in a first person shooter. Instead of hating on a game that hasn´t even released yet maybe it´s smarter to first check out the beta and then you might have some facts you can base a solid opinion on. Because right now we don´t know much, we see a few things and we hear a few things but nothing is set in stone, so let´s just be patient and see where Halo 5 will take us!
