First person view in GTA V?
So it seems that we´re getting first person view in GTA V, but only on the new consoles (Xbox One and Playstation 4) and pc. It looks interesting and I´m certain a lot of people are excited abot this, but is this really what we need in GTA V? What happened to the heists? I mean we get a lot of dlc packs (for free, I´d like to add that) and other new things but what happened to the heists?
How will first person view change GTA V? For me it would be more intense, in first person view things come straight towards you and there is no escape and when you look from third person view you´re more like an observer that just happens to be able to control the person you see. But also in vehicles it will be quite interesting to experience this is first person view, for some that´s the best view when in a car (or plane). Because I´m a terrible driver I know that this won´t work for me, but it´s nice that it´s an option you can turn on or off, so it´s not like you have to deal with this!
What about shooting, is that also in first person view? Yes you can also see that in first person view, which is quite weird to me in a GTA game but at the same time it will make the action a bit more intense and for some people this makes aiming so much easier. I guess if you don´t want to use a lock on and do want to be able to aim more accurately then it makes sense that you´ll use first person view. It looks interesting but once again I don´t know if this will be my thing. I guess Rockstar is taking a chance with this and see how it works out, if it´s succesful then it wouldn´t surprise me that this will be standard in most of their games in the future.
But do we really need first person view in GTA V? I think that´s a personal question and that´s one I can´t answer for you, but my opinion is that I don´t need it and I would´ve rather seen heists in the game than first person view. But that´s my opinion, that´s how I look at it and I don´t want to talk shit about something a lot of people are looking forward to. I do realize that first person view can bring new life in GTA V and make it worth playing it once more from the beginning to the end, just to see how it all looks from first person view. It´s actually a smart move from Rockstar, this first person view might actually make it worth buying the game again on the new consoles (for everyone that already bought it for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3). Let´s just hope that heists will soon follow!
