Just Cause 3 is coming!

If you like an open world where you can do a lot of crazy stunts, grapple and shoot like crazy then Just Cause 3 might be your type of game! From some of the early screen shots I see already some resemblance to Just Cause 2 (a fun game to play) but in this game everything seems bigger and better. So in a way it´s exactly what you would expect from a sequel, but can it survive next to so many other giants in the world of games?


I think that Just Cause 3 will survive because it´s mostly fun, where so many games want you to suffer through challenges or frustrating moments you can just relax and unwind with Just Cause. It´s not a game you play when you´re super serious, so if you enjoy playing Saints Row games (especially the last two) then Just Cause might be something for you. I´m pretty certain that most peopl have heard about the Just Cause games but how many have actually played it? I don´t think it will matter that much for Just Cause 3 because you´ll probably start a whole new adventure!


You play as Rico Rodriguez, the main protagonist from the first two Just Cause games, and you don´t only look bad ass you are a bad ass! In one of the screen shots I see Rico with his grapple hook attached to a crate in the air and there is another person also attached to the crate with a grapple hook, I don´t know if this is just a NPC or maybe there is a co-op (probably online only) in this game. Right now it´s just guessing but sooner or later more news will come out and we´ll know for certain!


Why should you be excited about this game? It´s fun! Ok that´s too easy, how about a fun game that offers you a lot to do in a world that is big and full of things to discover. It´s easy to make the link to Saints Row or GTA but I think Just Cause stands on its own legs and is a game worthy to mention in such a way, not just because it´s fun but also because it offers you enough things to do. Unfortunately we´ll have to wait a bit longer to find out all that we can do in this game, but I´m definitely having a good feeling about this game!

Button bashing

It seems that more and more games want you to smash on the buttons of the controller, which seems like fun but knowing that this weak piece of plastic can´t handle much it´s not the smartest way to handle your controller. In the good old arcade days I could smash on buttons, ok nothing too crazy but at least those machines had a lot more resilience than these weak controllers we have now. You have to pay a small fortune for one of them and they fall apart with the slightest bit of force you use. After smashing a couple of controllers out of frustration I learned to be careful with them, but when games force you to be an agressive button basher it doesn´t really help. Button bashing is nothing new but I do seem to see it in more and more games, even games that could easily do without this abusive way of treating your controller. Movie Monday: Mr & Mrs Smith

There are movie that might not look good at first, when you hear about it, but once you see the movie then you know that it's a fantastic movie. What really made Mr & Mrs Smith so good was the acting of the two main stars in the movie, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They had so much fun making this movie that it's an absolute joy to watch the movie. Which is good news for people that are looking for a fun movie to watch! Married to a spy? The story of Mr & Mrs Smith is pretty simple, a man is a spy and marries to a woman not knowing that she's a spy too. Apparently both of them are unaware of eachothers activities until their paths cross in their spy life, which leads to a lot of fighting and explosions. It's really not the action that makes this movie so much fun to watch but it's the humour. Sinful Sunday: Why are you so serious?

When I play a game I don't want to be serious, I just want to have fun and relax. Honestly real life is serious enough and I don't need that in games. Who cares who wins or who loses, just have fun and that already makes it great! Unfortunately there are gamers that take certain games way too serious, so serious that they literally forget to have fun which is quite frustrating to deal with. These kind of players are so serious that they probably left the fun behind when they started the game. Sigh... Serious gamers are lame gamers?
