In a lot of competitive games the winner often gets a lot of hate, wether that´s because he or she used a cheap tactic to win or maybe because the others just wished they would´ve won. Either way the winner deals with hate from other players, but is that always just? Sure camping is a sad tactic but it´s not forbidden! It makes me wonder if sometimes people are just jealous of the person that won, because in competitive games winning is important! It´s just a game? That´s probably what your parents tought you, don´t worry it´s just a game. But in a lot of competitive games it´s often so much more than just a game. It´s about skill, honour, talent, fame and sometimes even money. Especially the last one can bring the ugly side out in a lot of games, when gamers compete over money then nobody wants to lose and everyone wants to win. I bet not everyone is excited about this news, hell half of the comments I read are people that still whine about how much Saints Row 3 and 4 suck. But there are also a lot of people out there that are happy that the Saints will make their debut on the Xbox One and Playstation 4, it´s going to be a stand alone dlc title called Saints Row IV: Gat out of hell! I´ve already talked about exclusives but that was more focused on games, but it seems that these exclusives aren´t always just games but sometimes also dlc or a pre-order bonus. Either way that sucks for everyone that plays on a different console, because in the end gamers are the losers in these console wars! It´s easy to hate Microsoft or Sony with their exclusive bullshit, I know that I´ve had my hate for quite some time when it comes to certain games and I´m still annoyed whenever I see a new game or content and it´s exclusive to one console. The Xbox One hasn´t even launched in half the world and I already hear people talking about a slim edition for the Xbox One. It wouldn´t be that crazy, since the Xbox One is huge and has some empty space inside when you open it up. So it´s not that crazy that they would make a slim edition of the Xbox One, it´s just a surprise that it would be that quickly. Or is this just a rumour? The pictures that appeared of the Xbox One slim edition are fake, someone made those and that person also mentions that in the bottom left corner of the picture. But the idea of the Xbox One slim edition isn´t that weird, I mean the Xbox 360 has one so it´s just a matter of time that the Xbox One will also get one. But I doubt it will be that quickly, because when you think about it the Xbox 360 slim edition appeared five years after the lauch of the Xbox 360. It seems that this is becoming a trend, more and more games that are made for single player get a multiplayer shoved in just appeal to more people. You can say a lot about that but I think it´s best said with just one word, it´s wrong! Why do developers put multiplayer in a game that´s made for single player? I think an easy answer would be to make the game more attractive for different types of gamers. For example people that don´t like to play solo now have a reason to buy a game when there is also a multiplayer, but if people are really going to buy a game just for multiplayer remains to be seen. Of course Call of Duty games often attract people that only play multiplayer, but to be honest the single player can only keep you busy for a limited amount of time. But games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age are made for the single player experience and yet they have to shove a multiplayer in those games! After everything that I´ve seen and heard about Dead Island 2 then it´s safe to say that it´s not going to be a typical sequel. I´m certain that everything will be bigger and better, which is usually typical for a sequel, but when it comes to the story then this game will be completely different. Why? Well there is no story in Dead Island 2, you just hang around in a part of the city (L.A.) and kill zombies. At the same time you share your game server with up to seven other people, which means that you´re probably never alone in the game. I was so happy when I first heard of this game, because finally you could play as Link who´s an adult and not a kid. Not that there is anything wrong with being a kid but I think mature players prefer Link as an adult, at least that´s how I see it. Anyway this game finally gave a lot of players what they want, Link as an adult and a more mature and dark story. Light and dark are a theme in this game? You could say that, since most of the land in this game is covered in darkness and you have to liberate that and return it to the light. Yes that sounds a bit silly but that´s how it goes! It seems silly but not everyone is familiar with sharing, in a rich family I doubt that is a big surprise or when you´re the only child then it also makes sense, but the amount of people that don´t like to share is so big that it gives me the impression that there are a lot of selfish assholes in the world! Sharing is caring? In a way that´s true, because if you´re willing to share then that means you care about others or at least that person you´re sharing with. It´s a simple and generous gesture that can make a lot of difference in a relationship. I´m not saying that people that share have the most friends and that everyone likes them. Because sometimes people take advantage of the kindness of others, it´s sad but true. It´s not easy to share, at least for some people it´s difficult, but that doesn´t mean that you shouldn´t try. I know some people hate the term gamer girl, because they say that everyone that plays games is a gamer and that doesn´t have to be specified as boy or girl gamer. But for the sake of being clear I´m using this term, so deal with it! So if I have to believe the latest statistics about gaming there are about as many male as female gamers, which means people that still claim that girls don´t play games are lying or just stupid! But why is it that you still don´t see that many women playing in online multiplayer? I think a lot of women don´t always play with their mic plugged in, so that makes it a bit more difficult to realize that you´re playing with or against a girl. Then there are also women that use a male gamertag with a male avatar (Xboxlive) to hide from annoying people that would harass them. Why? That probably got your attention huh? Well before you celebrate I think I should tell you that this doesn´t mean you get free games just like that. First of all you need to have a gold account, so without that there is nothing in it for you unfortunately. Not every game is for free, certain arcade titles are chosen for this promotion. But this promotion only lasts for 24 hours! What happens after that is unclear, but I assume that you´ll have to pay for the full game if you want to keep playing it. Of course the die hard gamers can probably finish a lot of games in a day so maybe you don´t even need to buy the game anymore! Is this a counter move from Microsoft against Sony? You would think that it is, with Sony claiming that people will never have to pay money to play online and offer free games every now and then. So it´s good that Microsoft is also doing something positive, because giving people a chance to try a game without actually having to pay for it or just playing a short t...

I must admit that I didn´t see this one coming, oh sure the ending did point out that the story wasn´t finished but if I have to mention all the games that ended like that then there should be many more sequels out there! But it seems that two pictures have been leaked, first of all the box art which is for the Xbox 360 and then there is a picture of a type of prison that looks pretty messed up. So could this be real or is it just a fake? The fact that Capcom hasn´t said that this is a fake makes me think that it could be real, because when they know it´s fake then they would be the first to say that. Also it looks pretty believable, but then again these times people can do almost anything on their computer. I guess for a lot of people it´s definately wishful thinking and I don´t blame them, I enjoyed playing Resident Evil Revelations so I would like to see a sequel to that game. I´d say any douchebag that is ´specialized´ in the mind and knows nothing about games will often say that games are bad for kids, I won´t say that this is completely false because kids shouldn´t play the mature content games but I do think that there are plenty of games that are good for kids and actually help them with memory and give them faster reflexes! But what about morality games? When you play the villain or just as a guy that does bad things does that make you a bad person as well? I don´t think so! I like playing the villain every now and then, but does that make me a bad guy? Well I don´t have a need to do harm to others and I´m quite content with my life as it is. It´s a simple idea, four against one and the last one standing wins. At least that´s the idea, somehow this hasn´t gone so well in the past. Just look at Fable Legends, I like Fable games but I can´t say that the game motivates me to buy and play it. Why not make Fable 4? But what about Evolve? This is the same idea as Fable Legends except now the player that has to beat the four others is actually a creature on screen and not an invisible douchebag that just spawns more enemies on the map. From what I saw things are looking balanced, because the four players only do a lot of damage when they work together and a strategic monster player knows when to strike and when to hold back. If you´ve played the Legend of Zelda: the Ocarina of Time then you´ve probably also played the Legend of Zelda: Majora´s Mask. It´s a fun game that takes everything you know from the Ocarina of Time and puts it in Majora´s Mask with some new things. I must admit that I prefer the Ocarina of Time but that doesn´t make Majora´s Mask a bad game, it´s a challenge that isn´t for everyone! So what is the big difference between Ocarina of Time and Majora´s Mask? Well in Majora´s Mask you don´t grow older, you wear different masks that allows you to transform into another being and you have three days to beat the game or everyone will die! Ok that probably sounds a bit dramatic, but it´s actually the way it is. You have three in game days, not actual days, to beat the game or else the moon will crash on the planet! It seems that the economy isn´t as bad as it was a year ago but I think a lot of gamers still take it easy, with good reason! But that doesn´t mean that people don´t buy things they don´t really need or things they hardly use at all. But why do you buy these things? A lot of things you buy, especially the things you don´t really need, are things you buy because of an impulse. It doesn´t really make sense but somehow you bought it, for example a new camo for your gun in CoD or a new costume for your character in Street Fighter. You don´t really need that but it looks cool and it´s not that expensive, which often leads to the impulse to buy it because when something looks cool and it´s not that expensive then it´s often just a click away from buying it. With first person shooters becoming faster and more action packed it seems that the days of the camper are numbered. I mean how can anyone not participate in the jumps, tactics and abilities that these new first person shooters offer?Well clearly you´ve never met a camper, because these people will never change... When I look at CoD Advanced Warfare multiplayer then I look at something that is a lot of fun and it actually encourages you to move around and try things out. But guess what? I already saw people camping in corners in one of the first multiplayer videos. It´s crazy how someone can do that when you have these cool abilities and you can take different routes (also vertical now) to surprise enemies and yet there are still people doing that stupid cowardly bullshit! It seems silly, to buy the exact same game that you have on your Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 but now for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. Some would say that this is a waste of money, but for others this is a must because they don´t want to miss out on this game. But is it really that silly? Last year when the Xbox One and Playstation 4 launch was pretty close to the release of certain games it was a difficult choice for some people to pick the right game. Because you don´t want to buy the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 version if you´re going to upgrade to the new consoles. But the Xbox One didn´t launch everywhere, in some countries it will launch next month on the 4th of  September. So this means that some people that have the Xbox 360 version of certain games might want to upgrade that game to the Xbox One version. But is that reallly a smart thing to do? After seeing the trailers of naval combat and an assault on a hideout I noticed in the comments below that a lot of people aren´t happy with this game. Something that doesn´t really surprise me but it does kind of annoy me, because no matter what a developer does it seems like it´s always wrong. Some people say that it´s exactly like Assassin´s Creed IV Black Flag and I can see why they think that, but I do think that this game has its own unique part in the Assassin´s Creed universe! What´s the difference between AC IV and AC Rogue? I think the biggest difference is that you play as a templar in AC Rogue, ok he´s a former assassin and the gameplay is also just like an assassin. But you do have some different weapons, both on land and on your ship. It also takes place further North, which creates different dangers and challenges. Is there something that makes you more angry than being killed like that in a game? You´re this bad ass hero, soldier or whatever you might be and you get killed so easily which makes you feel like you´re a pathetic piece of crap. It´s nothing new in games, for example in old platform games you sometimes are so fragile that if you get hit once by an enemy or by something dangerous in the environment that it would already be deadly. It´s actually a miracle that this is still a thing today, because I doubt people like it that much and to keep something in a game eventhough it´s not appreciated can be dangerous if you want people to buy your game! One hit kill is overpowered? If it´s an attack of a boss then I can understand that you feel that way, it sucks when a boss in a game has a move that can instantly kill you. Have you seen the Call of Duty Advanced Warfare multiplayer event? I don´t think I´ve ever been this excited about a CoD game and not just multiplayer but also single player looks like a lot of fun. It was chaos, so much information was thrown at you so I doubt I remembered all of that but I´ll try to talk about some important information or things I think are pretty cool. What´s new? Well I think it´s safe to say that a lot of things are new, because the way you´re playing can change a lot thanks to the powers you have now. For example boosting gives you a chance to take a different route, evade or even to chase someone. You can boost into every direction and even hover for a moment in the air, it´s quite amazing! But you also have other powers where you can shoot projectiles from your arm, use a type of trophy system to catch these projectiles, use a shield (and still have a lot of mobility), cloak yourself and there are a lot more things you can do. This isn´t just my favourite Zelda game, this is probably one of my favourite games of all time! I was already familiar with the top down view Zelda games on the NES but those didn´t interest me that much. But the moment I saw the trailer on tv I was interested in this N64 game! The epic look of this game blew me away and I had to play it, so I think I scraped all my money together so I got to buy this game. Which was a good thing because I also got the special gold catridge version! What´s so special about this game? I guess when you´re already using someone then it´s clear that you´re not doing a good thing, being a part of a team doesn´t mean to use them for your own benefit. But I guess it´s tempting to hide behind someone else when the bullets are flying around. But let´s not forget that there are people out there that like to be up front, that seek danger and often find it. So who am I to deny them that! Why would you use a meatshield? Well in a mmorpg it´s a good thing to have a meatshield (aka tank) that protects you when you have a weak defense. For example a mage can do massive damage but usually doesn´t stand a chance when surrounded by melee attackers. But also in a first person shooter it can be useful to have someone  up front that takes the bullets and then you shoot back when they´re reloading. No this isn´t a combination of GTA V and Red Dead Redemption, this is actually a way of me saying that GTA Online is finally what I hoped it would be. You see when I first started playing GTA Online, from the start in October, things didn´t work so well and I wasn´t very positive about GTA Online. I´m glad to see that Rockstar has fixed this and even improved certain things, which is what you can expect about ten months later but still it´s nice to see that everything is looking good! When I first started playing GTA Online there were a lot of issues, one of the most annoying is having issues getting in an online session. It seems simple but I remember that the first time I tried that I spend a lot of hours on that and with nothing to show for it! You might be surprised that there will be another remake of Resident Evil, eventhough the Gamecube version actually did bring some new features in the game this one will be a brushed up version of that. It will be available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, pc, Playstation 3 and 4. But the question is, are we really interested in another Resident Evil remake? I don´t speak for other people but I´m interested in this game! The first Resident Evil game is my favourite and I think the mansion is a perfect place for scary moments in a survival horror game. I also like the characters in the game, already in the Playstation version the characters are quite memorable and who wouldn´t want to be a member of S.T.A.R.S. if they could be! Bad news for people that want the special pre-order edition (ghost edition) for the game Destiny, it seems that they don´t have enough for everyone and so a lot of people got a message from the stores where they pre-ordered it and found out that they won´t be getting the ghost edition. Which sucks to say the least! I´m actually quite surprised that they didn´t have more of this ghost edition because when a game is popular you want to have enough copies of this special edition plus items shipped with it in stock. I don´t think it happens a lot that there aren´t enough pre-order versions of a game, more likely there are too many and you can still buy this special edition of a game long after launch. But it seems Destiny will not have this problem, which sucks for everyone that was hoping for this ghost edition, maybe with some luck there will be more or with some extreme luck some people will cancel their pre-order ghost edition and you´ll still get one. Have you seen the Assassin´s Creed Rogue trailer? It looks pretty good and I´m even more excited about being right! The moment I heard that you play as a templar I already had the idea that this means that you probably play as an assassin that switches sides because if you wouldn´t have the skills of the assassin then the game would be played differently. Also I don´t see them stepping away from a popular gameplay mechanic, especially not in the last AC game for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. When the game was called Assassin´s Creed Rogue I was even more certain, but the details remain a mystery for now. Eventhough I have learned some things from the trailer. It´s a simple system, do you like/dislike a video or comment? But maybe it´s because it´s a simple system that so many simple minded assholes seem to be attracted to it. Because the whole like and dislike thing is something that seems to be broken or at least not working as it should. People get a lot of likes for whatever reason that might be and others swarm together to dislike something because that´s the trend or because they want to annoy others. Like and dislike don´t mean a thing anymore! I already talked before about youtube having certain people on it that post a lot of messages on popular videos and get a lot of likes for that, this already proves how stupid the like/dislike system is. But then you also have people that dislike just for the fun of it, some try to annoy others while there are also people who think that their dislike has to be visible for everyone to see. Games don´t always have to be fancy, sometimes all you need is just a character and an environment you can destroy. This is technically the idea of Rampage: World Tour, where you control one of three monsters and you can destroy a city. I won´t say that it´s like you´re Godzilla but to be honest it does come down to the same idea, because you destroy cities as a giant monster. So all you do is destroy cities? That´s pretty much the idea, but destroying a city doesn´t go as fast as you might think. Eventhough you´re a giant monster, you´re not a giant monster that is so big that he can destroy a building with his foot. No you need to climb buildings and destroy it enough for it to collapse, at the same time you have to fight off the military and if you get wounded you can heal yourself by eating people. The biggest problem I have with people that sing is that 90% of people that sing in public are awful, they can´t sing and listening to that horrible sound just kills anything good in your life. Which is why I´m not surprised that there are several people out there that sing in online multiplayer games, wether that´s for their own amusement or just to annoy the crap out of other people really depends on the person but it´s safe to say that people aren´t doing that out of the kindness of their heart! Music and singing are two ways for people to annoy you? I think this is the intention in a lot of cases, especially in competitive multiplayer it seems that this is happening a lot. Of course it´s easy to mute people but it´s just a shame that this is needed at all. I mean when you´re plugged in with your microphone then wouldn´t you want to use that for better things? For example communicate with your team to warn them or to give call outs, it´s a good way to win and since you´ve decided ...

Now before you get too excited, this is just a rumor at this moment because Rockstar hasn´t confirmed anything about this. Maybe you´re thinking, so why should I get excited at all? Well there seems to be some proof of zombies being a possibility in GTA V, but once again this is speculation at this point and not something that can be proved with a screenshot. So what´s the proof? Some modders have found a script in GTA V that point out to zombies, especially in the one where you can even see the word zombies. Of course this doesn´t have to mean anything, at least not what we might think or hope. But this does make you wonder, is Rockstar putting zombies or a zombie mode in GTA V? It wouldn´t be the first time, because in Red Dead Redemption you have the undead nightmare and that introduced zombies into the game. This took place in a separated story line and wasn´t really a part of the main story. A lot of people love this and I bet they would like to have something similar in GTA V. ...

Let me first say that Microsoft did the same thing, so this isn´t something I type for hate or any other lame end. I guess Microsoft was happy with their sales and made that public how well they sold their Xbox One, but then here comes Sony and crushes those numbers with their sales of the Playstation 4! Game over Microsoft? I guess every Sony fan boy or girl would love to hear that but no that´s not going to happen, but it´s probably a blow for Microsoft.
