The longer you play a game, the more you realize what´s wrong with it!

If this is true then you should play games for only a week and then never play them again, because it sucks when a game you loved from day one turns into a game you start to hate. Maybe it also has something to do with the way you play and the amount of time you invest in playing the game. But it often still leads towards games being less awesome then you first thought.

First impressions are important? When it comes to people then that´s a yes, but with games this is more deceptive. A lot of games look amazing at first but when you play a certain game for some time you´ll notice things that are just annoying, I wouldn´t say that it ruins the game but it adds frustration to your game experience. It´s often for that reason why I´m sometimes very excited about a game and then a couple of weeks later I´m less positive about the game, GTA V was a good example of that. The agressive cops was nothing new but the whole GTA Online thing was just atrocious! This actually became a bit better months later but at first it was just bad!

This isn´t about Destiny, is it? Unfortunately it is, you see at first I loved this game but more and more things are starting to show that this game has issues. I´m not even talking about multiplayer nonsense where 90% of the people run around with overpowered auto rifles that kill in a second, which is quite annoying to say the least and makes it that much harder to complete bounties where you have to make headshot kills in the crucible with your scout rifle and hand cannon. I´m talking about being kicked out of the game every day about an hour after you first log in and then lose all progress in the mission I played! But let´s not forget how sometimes a low level character kills you (me being a level 27 titan with exotic and legendary armor) with one hit, I´m talking about a low level character in patrol that is about level 3 to name something. Bungie has work to do on Destiny and I hope they do it quickly because it sucks that this is how the game turns out to be, lately it´s been more frustration than fun for me and that´s never a good thing.

But let´s not forget about obtaining exotic weapons. Not only do they make you do a lot of crazy shit just to earn one, the worst part is when you have to do a strike (if you´re really unlucky it´s an epic strike) and it automaticly puts you solo in the strike if you don´t have friends in your team. I understand that it´s the type of game that motivates you to play with others but to assume that everyone always has friends that play the same games as you or have the time to play missions with you is just stupid. Instead of making things doable and allowing you to get things done on your own you´ll be spending a lot of time hoping to find like minded players that need the same things as you. Because there aren´t a lot of players that want to spend their time on helping you get something when they get nothing in return. I don´t blame these players, I blame Bungie for being an asshole about this!

The first two weeks of Destiny was fun, I had a great time but the more you play the more you realize what´s wrong with it. I´m not talking about not having a lot of story missions or that they constantly let you repeat the same shit, no it´s the way things work in this game where there is always a new obstacle for you to get passed and it´s difficult to enjoy a game when frustration is killing all the fun! So maybe it´s better to play games just for a week or two, because no matter how much fun a game is it will turn ugly sooner or later!
