Destiny: getting the item you deserve!
How many times did you get screwed over with a blue or purple engram? Somehow nine out of ten times it would be something less useful, which was probably one of the most annoying things in the game. But Bungie claims to have fixed this, now you get the same type of item as the colour of the engram or better.
Doesn´t this make the game too easy? Perhaps, but getting all the materials to upgrade your armor completely will take some time anyway. Even if this means everyone will be in legendary armor by the end of the month then who cares? Isn´t it more fun to make progress and actually feel like you´re moving forward instead of being stuck with the same shit all the time? Which is why I´m not going to complain about this, eventhough my titan is already in full legendary and exotic armor I still have a hunter and a warlock that could use some. Hopefully now things will go faster and I can level up a bit faster after level 20. Because without rare or legendary armor it´s not going to happen!
I would like to warn you that sometimes when you get a legendary (purple) engram this might sometimes mean that you get crafting materials for legendary and/or exotic armor, but you can also get motes of light or strange coins. So there is still no guarantee that you actually get the armor or weapon, but at least those crafting materials are quite useful so it´s better than seeing a blue or purple engram turn into something worth less. The legendary and rare engrams are also supposed to drop more often, I can´t say that this has really happened but at least it´s something better than wasting hours on the hope something good might drop and then seeing it turn into something weak.
What´s the next thing they should fix in Destiny? I hope they´ll take a look at the auto rifles, they´re too overpowered in the crucible because if you use any other rifle then nine out of ten times you´ll lose because the other just has the squeeze the trigger for a second. It gets really annoying when everyone is running around as a hunger with an auto rifle and a shotgun. I´m not saying that they should become useless but maybe make other weapons a bit more effective or the auto rifle and shotgun a bit less effective. Also make certain that the hunter drops quicker in their super state, that gives you a better chance to survive that nonsense. I know that not everyone will be happy with it but anyone that doesn´t play as a hunter and uses other weapons than an auto rifle and a shotgun is having a bad time in multiplayer and that´s just wrong!
