Assassin´s Creed: Unity is looking great!
With all the new game trailers popping up on youtube it´s difficult to pick a favourite and I don´t think that I´m going to, but I must admit that Assassin´s Creed: Unity made a good impression on me. Not just because of the beautiful graphics, interesting setting and smooth controls. No this game is all about the four player co-op!
So you play the game with four other people? Well you can, I don´t think they´ll force you to do that and you´ll most likely be able to play it with two or three people (I´m not certain about being able to play solo as this game is meant to be played with others). To me it feels a lot like the wolfpack missions in Assassin´s Creed III and IV. But this time everything is bigger, better and more beautiful!
Where does it take place? The trailer showed that it takes place in Paris in the time of the French revolution which is an interesting and chaotic time. The trailer was quite brutal and it showed a lot of violence, but that does seem more believable to me. The looks of the assassins is fantastic, they walk in some time of velvet outfits that feel like they belong in that time but of course with the hood on! The trailer showed four different characters with different weapons, so with some luck you can make your our character and loadout.
You can creat your own character? I really hope so, but it wouldn´t suprise me if you have to play as certain characters. But maybe it´s a lot like multiplayer and you can still customize your own character and unlock new things as you level up and make progress through the game. I think you can also play as a female assassin so that´s great news for female gamers or guys that prefer to play as a girl. Unfortunately I can´t really confirm that, but looking at multiplayer and how this game looks it would be a mistake if they left that out!
Why would you want to buy this game? It looks beautiful, you finally have an Assassin´s Creed game where you can play the campaign with other people and it´s in such an interesting time that I´m very curious how the assassins got mixed up in all that. But then again looking at Assassin´s Creed III I´m actually not that suprised that the assassins are involved in the French revolution. As an Assassin´s Creed fan you might not want to miss out on this and even if you don´t have any friends that play Assassin´s Creed then this might be a good game to make some!
