It´s not always easy to admit when another player is better than you, sometimes his or her skills are just better than yours. No matter what it is that you do, you just can´t beat them! Of course this doesn´t make him or her a better person (or gamer for that matter), but sometimes you´ll just meet people that are better than you at a game. But is this always skill or are they using some cheap tricks? What do you consider as cheap tricks? Well I think camping in a corner is probably one of the most popular and hated cheap tricks, but some people will defend this tactic and say that it´s an acceptable tactic. It´s true, it´s not cheating and that´s why I call it a cheap trick. Another cheap trick is when you´re in a fighting game and you only use the same move over and over, especially when that move is difficult to block or to do much else against. Have you ever noticed that when you play a game and you´re the only human player in a match or mission that every enemy gun is directed at you? It´s extreme up to the point where enemy bots just completely ignore friendly bots and just go straight for you, which is crazy when friendly bots shoot the crap out of them! It´s especially frustrating when you do mission objectives, you´re trying to capture a flag or grab a bag of money and while you´re doing that every enemy will shoot at you and completely ignore the friendly bots. Some games are a bit more extreme with this than others, for example Black Ops 2 has some anti human bots. It´s nice that they put up some resistance but really ignore the other bots and go straight for the human player at all costs?!!! When does this happen a lot? Usually when you play alone with bots, because if you play with other people then they´ll get their share of the attention as well. The time between forming a team and actually playing a match can be longer than you think, especially in Black Ops 2 you can wait a long time if people constantly decide to join and leave. I´m not the impatient type so I prefer to keep myself buys checking my loadouts and if I´m done with that I read profiles. At least if there are people in the lobby and if they have something written on their profile. Something that isn´t always the case, because not everyone puts value into that. So why would you type anything in your profile? I think it´s a good way of making your profile a bit unique, let people know who you are and what you like or prefer. Maybe you need help with a game, so you can put a message there that you´re looking for other players to help you with a certain game or achievement/trophy. I know some people like to bother other people with messages to help them out, but I don´t think you make a lot of friends that way. For those with humour you can make your profile in...

The way I remember it is that when you´re a kid you have heroes as examples, you play as heroes with your friends and probably have action figures or watch cartoons/movies with heroes in it. I don´t think I knew any kids that prefered being a villain over a hero. For a long time I felt the same, being the hero is cool! But as you get older things change, sometimes heroes just lose that point of interest while villains have that darker and more in depth background that is more interesting. What made someone do these things? But it doesn´t always have to be that complicated, sometimes villains just look better than heroes. When you look at games then you can see that there is a rise of villains as well, no longer do you play mister do good but now you can be mister be evil. Why is it fun to play the villain? Have you ever checked profiles when you were waiting in a lobby? Sometimes you don´t even really have to check the profile, just check their game progress in their game profile. For example in Halo 4 you can check at what difficulty the player has beaten the campaign or if the player has even beaten the campaign. It´s a good way to pass the time when you´re waiting for the next match. I´m actually suprised by the amount of people who haven´t completed the campaign, some people haven´t even played through the first chapter! It really makes me wonder why they even bought the game, because buying a game just for one mode seems like a waste of time. Wouldn´t it be smarter to wait until the game becomes cheaper and then you but a less expensive game and you don´t feel like you just wasted 60 Euros on multiplayer. Thanks to dlc´s these days you´ll probably pay a lot more for multiplayer, at least if you want to be able to play in every match or otherwise you´ll be gracefully kicked ...

As we all know not everyone is always that pleasant to play with, when people annoy you or just do whatever they can to ruin your fun then it´s nice that there are bots you can play with. But you don´t have bots in every game, which leads to some forced gameplay with other people if you want to get some multiplayer achievements/trophies. But even in some games where you do have bots the achievements/trophies can only be earned if you play with other people. Does that seem fair to you? Personally I prefer to play with bots to get achievements/trophies, that means I don´t have to worry for some annoying person to ruin everything, because you have these people that make it their job to keep people from getting achievements/trophies. I call them achievement/trophy blockers, but this isn´t a big group in the gaming population so it´s not a big threat to all you achievement/trophy hunters. I really like watching movies, as a young kid my sister would take me often to see movies in the big city so that was always fun. I hold pleasant memories with watching movies, that hasn´t really changed over the years. But that movies are turned into games or games turned into movies is something new. Well not new as in it has never happened before but something that happens a lot more these days then in the early game years. Of course I can remember games that did have those movie titles. I didn´t play that many of them but I remember playing Terminator 2 Judgement day, Last Action Hero, Batman Forever and of course Goldeneye 64. I don´t think it comes as a suprise that in those days most games that are based on movies didn´t always make you happy while playing them. Especially when you´ve seen the movie and then play the game, sometimes you had no idea what was going on in the game because it had nothing to do with the movie.
