I hate Monday: When bugs and glitches aren't being fixed
It sucks when a game has bugs and glitches in it, this is something that already makes it more difficult to enjoy a game but when these bugs and glitches are just allowed to exist in the game for a long time then it really becomes annoying because how can play a game that is so frustrating to play? I honestly hate it when games are full of bugs and glitches. Just think of having issues moving around, switching weapons, killing enemies in the game or even saving the game. These are issues that can truly ruin a game for you and somehow they still exist in some games. You'd think that people would test these games but apparently that's not how it works for some games.
Why do some games still have bugs and glitches in it?
That's the question isn't it? Because you would expect that to be fixed before you launch the game and if for some dumb reason the game did launch with the bugs and glitches in it then you'd expect that to be fixed as soon as possible. Unfortunately that's not always true, what's worse is that some games have these bugs and glitches in it for a long time. At that point you really have to wonder if you want to continue playing that game or just move on to a game that doesn't suck. Some games are actually funnier with the bugs and glitches in it, I think Goat simulator is a good example of it. But this is a rare example and most games are just better when the bugs and glitches are fixed. Of course some games can have funny moments because of bugs and glitches, but you honestly don't want that to make the game unplayable or frustrating. At that point it's not acceptable and you really don't want to play a game that is almost impossible to have fun in with all the bugs and glitches. I guess some games have just difficult problems in it that aren't easy to fix. Sometimes something gets fixed and another thing breaks. That's something you also see in certain games, that often makes the community grumpy and I can't really blame them.
Do you think that all the issues with a game will be fixed?
That depends, because certain games are quite old and at that point I wouldn't expect a lot of patches for game issues. It's nice when things get fixed but sometimes it also takes time, which means patience and that's not something everyone has. You can't fix a problem when you don't know what it is exactly and what's causing it. It's not like you can flip a switch and things are fixed. But when bugs and glitches are allowed to exist in a game for months then I think it's not weird for people to get upset. Of course fixing things takes time, but how long does it take? Certainly not months, at least I honestly don't think so. With the Assassin's Creed Unity bugs and glitches I stayed away from that game for more than six months, I honestly didn't trust it and waited until I heard that everything was fixed and the game was for sale. Just to be safe because I honestly didn't want to buy a game that had issues. It really sucks when you buy a new game and it already has issues, that makes you upset and you feel like you just wasted money. Not really the type of feeling I'm looking for when I buy a new game.
