Stop delaying games!!!
I know some people are happy a game is delayed, it means that there is more time put into the game so it will be good or at least we all hope that it's going to be good. I understand that and it's nice that the game isn't being rushed, but when games are constantly being delayed then you do get a bit sick and tired of it. I mean sooner or later you do kind of want to play the game and if it's constantly being delayed then you can't play the game.
Delaying a game is a good thing?
It sounds weird but it actually isn't such a terrible thing. The game gets more time and that means that more bugs and glitches are being fixed. I honestly hate it when you buy a new game and it's full with bugs and glitches, it's so frustrating when you have to deal with that! The more time a game gets the game will be more likely in better condition, which means more fun to play. The downside of the constant delays is that you need a lot of patience and some people get sick and tired of the waiting. I don't blame them because if a game gets delayed several times you get annoyed because you're so looking forward to play the game but there is constantly another obstacle that keeps you from playing the game. It sucks but unfortunately it's necessary, because nobody wants a game that is full of bugs and glitches, that's something you absolutely don't want!
Why all the hate for the delays?
I think people get tired of all the waiting, they really want to play the game and if it constantly gets delayed you end up waiting for a long time. Remember Fortnite? That game was announced years ago and then you just don't hear about it anymore. I honestly forgot about the game until it was suddenly launcing in July last year which came as a huge surprise for me. But is the game is good condition? Nope, the game has several issues, to say the least, and that kind of makes you wonder if the game should've been delayed some more. The game isn't that bad but it has issues, there is no denying that, and that makes it difficult to enjoy sometimes. This is why I'm not that upset with the delays of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Anthem, I would love to play these games but I know that it's better to wait and be patient than to demand the game at the original launch date and get a game full of bugs and glitches. It sucks that you have to wait but it's for a good reason. The problem is that a lot of people don't have that understanding and they have even less patience. They want to play games as fast as they can and don't seem to understand why a game is delayed. As if it's being done to bully the fans. It's not! I hope that these games will launch this year because the longer you have to wait the more the game will be judged. Because if you have to wait several years extra for a game then that game better be amazing otherwise your judgement is going to be harsh. I mean not everyone might feel that way but I know from personal experience that I have been harsh on games that were delayed and then when they finally launched they just didn't seem worth the extra wait. I guess you can't please everyone with your new game and sometimes games aren't worth the wait. But for the fans it's probably worth it, otherwise just find another game to play and before you know it the game you've been waiting for will launch. Hopefully...
