You know you´re an all star when...

Let me first explain what I mean with an all star, an all star is a play that wins a lot of games and usually gets good results. He or she isn´t just good at one or two games, they´re good at several games and not restricted to one or two genres. They´re good drivers, fighters and shooters in the world of games. Of course you can also be good at sport games, role playing games and puzzle games. But it´s often the more competitive games where you find all stars. I´m talking about people who don´t need cheats or tricks to win, which means no special controller or camping tactics to get a good result. That usually narrows the field a bit more, because if you get help or use a cheap trick then it´s not really skill is it?




How do you recognize an all star?


* An all star is someone that likes to win and often does win in a lot of matches.


* When you face an all star in a game then you´ll have a hard time beating him or her.


* Most all stars prefer to play competitive games, that´s where you´ll find most of them.


* An all star that´s talented usually gets noticed, which means you probably know him or her already.


* I´d say a real all star has a lot of achievments/trophies on his or her main profile.




Things you might not know about all stars:


- Not everyone that has MLG signs on his or her profile is an all star, there are a lot of fakes out there.


- Usually people that scream for the most attention are less likely an all star, but it´s not impossible.


- Not every all star is bad, some are quite modest and nice to talk with.


- I don´t think every all star would admit it, but half of the time it´s luck that gives them victory.


- It´s not really a secret but most all stars play a lot of games, usually spending a lot of hours on their hobby!




So what does it mean to be an all star? Well I wish I could tell you, but unfortunately I´m not an all star. Still I´ve seen all stars at work and talked with some talented people, of course that still doesn´t make me an expert on all stars. But from what I´ve learned I can say that most of them are often highly focused and extremely good at what they do. Some are modest and don´t care about getting attention while others can be extreme attention whores, but it´s not like one all star defines all of them. It´s not a suprise that some of them are youtube stars and often entertain us with their skills, which is often nice to see. It´s a select group of gamers that have a love for gaming and often a desire to win.
