No matter how fun a game is you will learn to hate it if you have to deal with unskippable cutscenes. In my first playthrough I wouldn't skip through a cutscene but if I play the game for the third or fourth time then I kind of want to skip certain scenes when I already know what will happen. Especially in games with long cutscenes it's nice if you can save some time and go straight into the action. Unfortunately some games don't allow you to skip cutscenes, which can lead to some frustrating gameplay! Why do you want to skip a cutscene? I wouldn't skip cutscenes, at least not in my first or second playthrough but after that things become a bit repetitive and only if I haven't played the game in a long time and I don't know what exactly is going to happen I would sit through the cutscene again but otherwise it's just boring to watch the same thing over and over again. One of my New Year's resolutions is trying to stay calm and not get frustrated with games so easily. That's of course easier said than done because certain games can easily frustrate you, on top of that I'm easily annoyed by something so I pretty much have a resolution that is bound to fail. So I could just stop playing games or perhaps try to avoid the more frustrating games. I guess there is no winner with this, so I might just end up doing what I always do and see where it goes. Are games really that frustrating? For me games can be very frustrating sometimes. Even the little frustrating moments can build up to a big explosion of frustration and anger. For example in the Sims 4 you're under constant stress when you have multiple sims with their careers and they all need to be kept happy and at the same time keep improving skills so they can get a promotion. It seems simple but when some douchebag keeps cancelling my commands or spends five hours, in game time, ea...

Imagine this, you just played the most amazing game ever and you had so much fun with it. A lot of people seem to enjoy it and you can't wait for a sequel, but then ten years later you get the feeling that the sequel isn't being made and might never be made. It's a big kick in the balls, to give that feeling a name, and you honestly wonder how this is possible? Why would the developers not make a sequel? Well there could be several reasons but the problem remains and that's you without a sequel to a game you love to play. Why aren't they making a sequel? Sometimes there are really lame reasons. Not because a game did so badly but because the company that made the game got bought by another company and now they make different games. You might not expect that but it has happened! But sometimes companies also go bankrupt, because the game wasn't a huge succes or they spend more then they earned with the games they made. There are also developers that just want ...

It's the beginning of 2018 and most of us have probably made some New Year's resolutions, but how many of these New Year's resolutions are actually going to be accomplished? I know that I often don't accomplish them because somewhere in May or June I just don't care that much anymore what I wanted in January. The main reason why I and probably a lot of other people fail is because you put the bar too high, your New Year's resolutions are too ambitious or just ask too much of you and that can be quite hard for you to accomplish. So how do you handle this better and manage to accomplish at least some New Year's resolutions? Don't be so hard on yourself? I like being hard on myself, I always thought that this would be the best motivation to do something or get something done. Unfortunately that's not always true. Some people might not realize it but as a gamer you need a lot of patience, that doesn't mean that every gamer has patience but it doesn't take away the fact that patience is a very useful thing to have and not just as a gamer but for everything else as well. Gaming is fun and it can give you so much for sometimes so little, but not looking at the prices for certain games or dlc there is another negative side to gaming. You often have to wait forever for certain games to launch! Why do you need to wait so long for games? Considering that I'm not a developer I would have to guess and my guess would be that a game needs to be launched in good condition. You don't want to be the developer that launches a game full of bugs and glitches. Sometimes it can be a pain in the ass to get all that crap out of the game and somehow some of that crap still sneaks its way into the game anway. It might surprise you but I still play Fortnite PvE, mostly for the daily objectives and getting the daily rewards but I still show up in PvE. Unfortunately not everyone does that anymore, the PvE servers feel empty and the only people that seem to be active are either interested in storm shield defense missions or leeching. There might be other type of players active but I haven't seen those since the Halloween event. This year Fortnite PvE will be free for everyone and that will probably draw in a lot of new players but if Epic doesn't change some important parts about PvE then it wouldn't surprise me that PvE is going to run empty sooner or later! So here are certain things I would like to see in PvE. Do your own thing. I really don't like certain missions you have to do in PvE. Repair the shelter and evacuate the shelter are two good examples of missions I hate. They're frustrating, they're boring, tough with a team and very difficult on your own to comp...

There were a lot of good games in 2017 so it's difficult to just pick one, but when you put everything together I do have a game that was for me the best because it was just so good and so much fun to play. But before I get to that I do want to talk a bit about all the games I like in 2017. These are all games I enjoyed playing and one of them is my favourite. But which one? Well I'll tell you that at the end. Going on an adventure! I love to go on an adventure, to see places that I haven't seen before and meet people I never met before. To go where no one else has gone, which is a lot easier in a game than in real life and it's also a lot cheaper! In Resident Evil 7 I had a spooky adventure and eventhough I probably wouldn't be too happy with that in real life, as in dealing with real monsters, I love that in a game.
