YouTube adventures part -43- Content or not?

Some people on YouTube seem to believe that only very succesful multiplayer matches or flawless single player videos are what people are interested in. So whenever a video is less succesful then some YouTubers consider that as something they can't use. I personally don't agree with that because if you only show your best moments you're not being honest to your viewers and pretty much try to look like someone you're not. So the question is...

Is it content or not?

I record a lot of game videos, at least I used to when my camera was still working as it should. Of course some videos would be better than others but I wouldn't just show people the videos where I would win and do well. There are also videos where I was not that good and I lost but because something happened in the video that I personally thought was interesting or funny I decided to show it anyway. Not that I want to spam YouTube with videos but I think that there should be more than just the succesful videos. Fail videos can be just as funny if not funnier at times.

Of course not everyone feels so comfortable to put their fails on YouTube and I understand that, you would rather put your succes on YouTube than your fails. But you should keep in mind that some people think it's more interesting to see your fails and will probably even like and watch that video more than the one where you are very succesful. Especially if your succes becomes your main theme on your channel, so every video you upload is a video where you succeed and where you win at everything you do. Maybe some people think this is interesting, others are probably going to get bored with that sooner or later.

I'm not saying you should make a channel just to show your fails, but more something diverse where you show your succes in games and your fails. I know that this is less popular to do but it's actually funny to watch and especially if it's real. So don't record videos where you jump in a ravine and then say that is was an accident. But let's say you throw a grenade and it somehow bounces back to you and kills you, now that seems like a legit fail and is funny. All I'm saying is to keep things honest and fun, I personally think that's a lot more interesting than these videos where people have to show off their perfect game where they got 30+ kills without dying. Yeah good for you but not everyone cares about that!
