Multiplayer achievements/trophies are the worst?

Getting achievements/trophies in a game can sometimes already be tough enough but with some effort and also some luck you can usually get most achievements/trophies in a game. But then there are multiplayer achievements/trophies, these don't always looks difficult but sometimes they are very difficult to get.

What makes multiplayer achievements/trophies so difficult to get?

My main issue with these achievements/trophies is that it takes other people to get them, so I need someone else to do something or be in a certain situation and then I have to take the benefit from that by doing what I need to do for the achievement/trophy. That's a complicated way of saying that I need someone to do something, but the problem is that other people often don't want you to get that achievement/trophy or they want to get the achievement?trophy and are want you to do whatever it takes to get that achievement/trophy. So it's pretty much an online struggle between people where they all hope that they get that moment to earn that achievement/trophy. That actually does feel great to finally get it, especially if it happened by accident. For example last night I got the cool as ice achievement in Overwatch without even trying, I was just shooting people and somehow I didn't miss and killed four people in a row. I guess sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you waste a lot of days maybe even weeks on one achievement/trophy and just never get it. That's also the problem with multiplayer achievements/trophies, you need other people to get it so when people stop playing a certain game mode, the event that has the achievements/trophies ends or multiplayer is just completely abandoned then you're shit out of luck if you still need achievements/trophies in that game. Another reason why I think that multiplayer achievements/trophies are the worst!

Why do developers put multiplayer achievements/trophies in games?

Probably just to keep people motivated to play multiplayer or just play their game. I have to admit that I kind of lost motivation to play Titanfall 2 after I got all three multiplayer achievements within ten minutes. I mean that's great but it did kind of make me lose my drive to keep going, I had fun playing multiplayer but it's nice if there is a goal that keeps you motivated. For example reach level 50 (or whatever the maximum level is), win a certain amount of matches or get that many kills in multiplayer. It might not always be fun to try and earn these achievements/trophies but they do keep you motivated for multiplayer. But maybe this is just my problem, that I need something to motivate me in multiplayer otherwise I lose intrest in playing that game. When I look at Overwatch then there are a lot of multiplayer achievements, still a total of 14 for me, I need to earn to complete the game. As much as that can be frustrating it also keeps me motivated to keep playing because I might just be able to earn some more. I actually earn new ones every now and then so it's not like I'm not being rewarded for my efforts. But it does feel good to take a break every now and then because no matter how much fun a game can be it's good to switch it up. Also it's nice to play single player games so you don't have to worry about other people fucking up your achievements/trophies.
